That looks like it would be a huge amount of work. I don't personally use that mod myself, so I have little incentive to make this compatible... however I've added the request/suggestion to my list of "stuff to do", for when I have some time to look into doing it.
Can you add deck version chaingun?
It also didn't always work in ALL orientations/setups
This mods corner being a 2x2 should help to make looping less easy to do. (although it IS still an issue!!). I also tested it working correctly in any setup/connection/configuration I could manage to think of ... and ... I add the crossover parts for crew and heat ...
My intention was to say that I need help with testing this mod and the thousands of others on the workshop that it could interact with.
It's very likely a lack of compatibility in either mod, with this mod being new (and having no compatibility built-in for anything) and the other mod being older and not updated to consider this mod.
This is where you ( and other people ) could help, by testing this mod ++ other mods
... and instead of asking if it works, you can state yes or no to it working for everyone :)
.. possibly ..
due to how chainguns are the internal components for the new pieces has *all* the same parts as the normal-vanilla chain gun magazine.
The BULK of this mod is actually getting the interlocking/overlapping part-criteria-proxy information for rotation-placement of adjacent magazines correct.
Therefore depending on what the ammo-conveyor is expecting to find in the nearby part (componentID: AmmoStorage for example) the conveyour *should* treat the new parts as if they were vanilla magazines.
I've tested the mod enough to confirm it works "standalone". Getting all the mod<>mod compatibilities tested is just way outside my timescope.
