I could probably do that but i'm not sure why I should make it, it's own uncommon infected since by the description its basically just a slower zombie with different sounds and stats, since L4D2 HEAVILY rewards exploration, the whole "strategy" this zombie would use would fall flat, and since infected are nextbots I wouldn't be able to change its speed without it affecting non-walkers since it would use cvars, so right now I don't see no reason to learn it.

To be fair when it comes to claws it's basically is just a concept sketch, not even a full fledge infected it only got recognized because of its design regardless of that functionality was never planned for it so it's pretty simple and honestly even when I completel the claws, it'll still not hold up to the rest, but that would explain why in the meat wall design it has a gapping mouth with literal blood flooding from it, so maybe I'll consider that method.

I have no reason on adding claws instead of base witch,its too similar,and expert witch already kills or incapacitate a survivor anyway.

I think would be better if it replaces just the wandering witch and worked more like a miniboss that move really fast or something like that.

Im really excited to when the mechanics of screamer,ratman and meatwall are completed tho.

I think meatwall should just puke hordes and hordes of common infected instead of throwing zombies in front of it(if you are using the concept meatwall skill),It would give a diference between him and the tank and even give a way of being a threat the same or higher than the tank(at this moment it is just slower and easier tank)

Since it unitized the witch model I can't really make it replace the common infected spawns and let's say I did hypothetically the claws would be possibly 20x more common due to common infected literally like the name implies are very common and basically are in every corner of the map so I don't see a reason why I would do this.

i think you should reduce the spawn rate, it spawns too frequently, also, you should make it spawn with commons instead of replacing the witch's spawn.. idk if thats possible but if it is, is a good way too separate these specials

i found a bug were it breaks the "STRUGGLE TO ESCAPE (COMPLETE EDITION)" for some reason.
maybe one of the updates could break it since it didnt break it before.

@30,000lb Gold Chain Thanks again, yeah I noticed it that you can really abuse this thing before it gets angry so i'm definitely going to buff it but i'm going to keep the shove, just maybe only make it shovable when it's already startled, since when I made this I didn't take into account that the sitting variant is going to make it too easy.

Only thing i could even try to call a "criticism" is buffing the health overall. It feels kind of, Fragile for an evolved death machine. id put it a bit more above witches base health if anything; about 150-250 more at maximum. That said, as always, you're killing it dude.

@Lio VC MUTED Yeah technically those states are labeled as actions but I get your method, because of restrictions I can't make it a one to one copy of the smoker's & hunter's abilities since bot witches are very different from but the flashlight mechanic is a no problem and I probably can be able to simulate those abilities but I can't say if it'll be perfect due to limitations but i'll see where GetOrigin gets me at

finally i think i can expand on that idea: you know how the attack pattern changes when on fire? i say give it the hunter's leap and maybe the smoker's grab for the on fire behavior since i'm pretty sure those are two diff sequences, so, it'll deliberately set you on fire while along with it and that'd be metal. One flashlight beam and it goes nuts. It'd be even scarier than a normal witch especially if it incaps you while it's still on fire. So scary in fact I'm kind of hoping all that is impossible.

this is pretty cool though how you got Claws, Meatwall, Screamer and Ratman as a chance for them to spawn and not replace the other infected such as the Spitter or Tank, Good stuff

@Hakimi the [PROTOTYPE] I saw but it seems to be based on convars which would conflict with the standard Tank which is something I don't want to do but I see your point and strategy on making Haggard if I ever decide to take on the challenge to make that absolute beast of a boss then i'll keep this in mind.

@Lio VC MUTED Believe me I got many ideas for The Claws so its FAR from truly finished just think of it as a journey since I am INFACT new to Squirrel Code, and actually The Hellhound was so simple I was actually able to use it as a base and modify it to be to my liking so you're definitely right when it can help me make the HellHog/HellPiggy and other mods managed to do that because all they did was replace the overlay, but with Vscripts I don't want to replace anything since I wouldn't want it to conflict with the average Boomer but the sounds shouldn't be a problem when I figure them out completely but i'll take this advice for sure.

You can edit the Startle text by creating a lang.nut with this: witch_spooked2_es = "Has asustado a El Garras" witch_spooked2_en = "You startled The Claws". I figured it out by editing the lang.nut from a mod called Improved Witch AI by Manacat and it worked for me. But idk if it could work with your VScript for the claws since it's for the witch startle text.
