Great set of mods ty. As a request any way you can either make a missile radar work underwater or somehow fix the torpedo sonar to not detect itself? The way it currently works is it hears the nearest target. Of course the nearest source of noise will always be its own vehicle, without the ability to put a min range or even a cone of detection.

I mean, I was planning to try using 3 of them for 1 boiler. But the lack of automation is a concern. I will run a test soon though, to see if 3 at once is enough.

The small firebox doesn't really even boil water, due to its size. So it wouldn't be worth adding one. I would use a larger one or the small diesel furnace.

could you fix the 1x1 radiators either make it able to seperate them or add a pump inbedded into them, impossible to create water pressure atm.

I've been looking for this for quite some time but could only find it in a non-component mod: Do you think you could add a small spotlight block without any additional hitbox in front of it? (So you can place one directly behind a paintable indicator for example)

It acts like a generator of sorts, it can only charge batteries. You'll need to run your power through a battery first to make use of the RTGs. I don't know why Geometa decided to do the electrical API like that but thats how it works.

The RTG doesn't seem to work for me. it displays the quantity of fuel remaining (which decreases as well) but doesn't generate any electricity(the electric node is at 0)

my bad. i was talking about the mini engine 1x1x2. the temp dispays just fine. the rps only outputs 0. i was able to get around it with a torque meter.

Yeah i tried multiple forms of relieving gas pressure, but none of them seemed to help. It does work with infinite fuel on though.

I'm not really fluent in the default engine workings but it should behave exactly like the small engine. Maybe you need to relief the gas pressure?

Im having an issue with the Tiny Engine, where after starting it runs for a second or two, then stops running and appears to not pull fuel from the fuel tanks, based on fluid level in the tank. Also when adding a pump between the tank and the the engine, after starting, it runs for a little bit longer. The weird part though is that the bigger the fuel tank its connected to, the longer the run time before stopping. it seems a small tank lets it run for about 3 seconds whereas a large tank lets it run for about 12 seconds.

You should make hydrogen fuel cells (input hydrogen and oxygen and you get electric efficiently)

Nope the small firebox is very and entirely useless. It only gets up to like 60 degrees and it’s duct has been removed

AkyJLa, the RTG can't be recharged after it's used, its very heavy and expensive, and glows very bright the more its used up. They can charge about 50 of their battery counterparts. I really need to tweak that description if it causes this much confusion.

Nice one I should suffer a penalty for its size penalty larger sonar is 200km medium is 100 km small is 60 KM so tiny would suit <30km, The laser sensor (missile) would make a good base shape for a nose with your twist I rekon. also i pinged Vath to encourage your colab,

AkyJLa, what’s the point of an engine if you can just use infinite electric and a motor? It’s just supposed to be an option for builds that don’t have room for a nuclear setup.

Hell yeah! get vaths permission, he's got some ideas for some ammo changes also may I suggest a 1 x 2 sonar to bring 1x1 torpedoes into existence using the laser point sensor model, just a long awaited request.

I think some fictional alternatives to RTGs like fission reactors that use hydrogen are a good alternative for nuclear but still conpact.

I just checked out pennies' parts and I'm not even going to begin to guess how they got the rotating belt to work, but either way multi-body objects aren't supported by the new component modding yet, otherwise I would consider.

Also I'm not really planning on modeling custom guns, but if anyone were to make decent, Stormworks-fitting models for them It wouldn't be that hard for me to port them in.

JakeIsLoud, Please make more modded weapons, Inspiration from Vath's gunmod and other Gunmods. As i, and probably others would love to have workshop Friendly modded weapons, Especially in, Aircraft which have limited space if you make a small airplane, Compact Ship/Land weaponry, And/Or Small turrets on weapons, as the Machine guns don't always fit the liking of many WW1-Cold-war-and further AIrcraft defense Turrets, I, and probably others in this community and the Subscribers of this mod would appreciate this!

Some more ideas:

A jackshaft connector, like on old electric locomotives, and some smaller diesels: Would come in small, medium and large variants to match the steam engine wheels, (the crankshaft looking piece connected to the coupling rods, can be seen on the PRR D1 electric locomotives, and the British Rail Class 03 shunter).

Versions of the steam wheels with a torque input: Also used for older electric or diesel locomotives.

Steam air compressor: A steam powered air compressor like the ones on some steam locomotives, has a steam input and output on the bottom, and an air input and output on the top.

A 3x3 radiator with a 1x1 hole in the center: For use on propeller aircraft.

A 1x1 Boiler.

Smaller versions of the sirens and foghorns.

1x1 diameter jet engine parts.

Turboprop inlets: Basically jet inlets with a torque output in the middle, would also come in 1x1 diameter version.

Tmccanna, sadly a lot of component's performance is based on the number voxels in the component, so the sad 12 voxels of the small firebox do render it pretty useless. I should probably note this problem in the description. Also small diesel furnace and maybe small electric furnace added to list.
