@Chokey Please write that it is no longer supported in the title, I spent 3 days trying to find what exactly was breaking my plants.The mod really helps optimize, but the fact that now nothing improves is sad.

Happened the same as @mignonetta, my plants didn't grow, I had to unsub but the difference is really noticiable, sad really it was really useful

@mignonetta but plants if I remember correctly update every 5 minutes but they update for these 5 minutes growth, so it don't change anything, I abandoned this mod long time ago so I don't update it no more, feel free to unsub it

I know that you stated the plant issue is fixed and they only update every 5 minutes, but the plants weren't growing at all. The mod is nice in all other aspects, but I need to feed my pawns and unfortunately had to remove the mod.

@everyone mod should be fixed now, child grown normal but i don't know why anomally entities supression stays at 30%, sorry for problems but im making other mod for rimworld and don't focus on fixing this, if it broke game you can delete it

this mod prevents all plant growth. i edited my saves constantly trying to figure out what mod was doing it, definitely did not expect it to be this one. what a weird bug :slugcatsleep:

Is the mod also stoping the suppression of anomaly's entities? I have the nociosphere and the counter stopped at 20%

(Also second issue I just noticed is that removing the mod mid save caused 2 faction leaders to despawn which is a bit annoying, so yeah warning for anyone who would consider doing the same)

Hello, thank you for this mod

I've been trying it out for two days (with the version from your Git) and one bug I noticed is that it messes up children growth (all my kids end up getting tier 3 at best). Except that I've got no issues afaik. Cheers.

Seems like a great idea but I'm missing a more detailed description and possible incompatibilities before adding it to my stable modlist. Someone used the github version with success? What's the overall performance gain?

@Xenon the new update from github seems to have fixed the issue!

You need to install it as a manual mood first tho as the update is not yet on the workshop

Thank you @Chokey for the update, seems to be working good so far, will provide feedback in case something else breaks

@Xenon, hello! I did read the description and tried waiting on the previous version of the mod, but after waiting for like 10- 20 mins and several in game days the plants weren't growing.

I'm going to try the new github version to see how it fares

@Chokey did you delete the publishedfileid.txt file? If you remove that, Rimworld doesn't know the mod's Steam ID and you can't update it. You also need to be in dev mode to post updates to Steam.

I fixed this but can't update mod, i dont know why, i saw issue that your plant's counted as plants outside of map too, if someone know why i can't update mod i could use some help

Same as the 2 below, but I did see a pretty extreme TPS increase on a 400 mod list.

So my crops stopped growing using this mod, while the mod works somewhat into giving more TPS, please double check the plants modifications as it will cause mass famine on colonies.

Seems that removing the mod doesnt cause save breaking bugs yet, will keep checking.

Keep up the good work the mod is good but needs more testing.

major bug, it caused plants not to grow entirely, could be a mod conflict with the other two slower tick rate mods, i didnt get any error logs in relation, i just noticed my pawns starving for some reason

@author - I would highly recommend checking in with the #mod-development channel over on the RimWorld Community Discord to get some insights from seasoned modders first. Otherwise this project might end in a disaster. :D

After looking at the code, I would highly discourage to use the mod anyways. Some of that approach sounds like a horrible idea... So who ever uses it; you better don't come running when your saves fall apart later. :/

Also maybe not exactly the best idea for a beginner 'mod project'...

@test, plants that aren't visible for player, they dont grow they dont die, all ticks for them are stopped until you see them

You probably don't want to package the whole of Unity into your mod whenever you compile your assembly. :)

@nex i wrote this all by myself and Slower pawn tick slow pawns, but my mod also stop useless ticks like animals and plants off map and drasticly slows pawns that aren't your colonists and this thta are off map as well :mt2_bouncy:
