I don't suppose it would be possible to get configuration for VFE's fences by any chance? Particularly the brick ones. Having trouble setting them up myself...

It has the different axis from Diagonal Walls 2 mod, hard to explain tho... Well, I think you'll get it right away once you build it. If it's too narrow, you'll have to go through in a zigzag pattern.

OK, question, because io can't find it in the description: can a pawn get between two closely positioned diagonal walls, like in your "Passing Between Diagonal Walls" mod?

My apologies, i somehow missed that the rocks were disabled by default. enabling them allows Rock And Stone to use Dia. Walls, thanks!

Does that mean you want to prevent diagonal rocks from naturally generating by enabling this mod? If you want to place a diagonal rock, that can be done through mod settings.

This is a bit of a tricky situation. The reason being, I can't reproduce it. Can it be reproduced even with the minimal mod list? Have you been messing with the fence settings? (you can reset them)

Fences seem to not connect properly at this specific intersection, I've got an octagon pen here so I can see all 8 possible iterations of this join, and this is the only one thats bugged

This mod is essentially a framework for cutting and pasting textures, so anyone can use it to create a naname version of the palisade. To be honest, I'd be happy if someone would just do it and update the default settings, but nobody seems to want to do it—maybe it's too complicated.
I'll get to it when I have time.

The identified conditions for occurrence are as follows:
1. Map Designer is enabled.
2. Construct Vanilla Rock Wall is enabled (To find such issues, please keep full logs rather than excerpts).
3. Map Designer is loaded before this mod.
So I simply added Map Designer to loadBefore and updated. Thanks for the report.

Hello, there seems to be a conflict between this mod and Map Designer. Not sure if this issue is on your end or theirs, but here's the relevant error:

When I reported this to Geological Landforms' dev, he informed me it seemed to be an issue with either this mod or Map Designer.

Specifically, this mod, used in conjunction with Map Designer, seems to cause both massive errors in the GUI on the world map screen as well as failure to generate maps for gameplay.

So, should I use your mod in conjunction with DW2, or can I achieve the same effect as DW2 just by using your mod? From my experience of using it, DW2 doesn't seem to have a good adaptation for Rebuild: Doors and Corners. Does your mod fix this deficiency?

Joining diagonal and non-diagonal wall types results in this error [imgur.com] when the joining surface is north-facing. Is this something fixable in configs or just a bug?
(The paint colour on the error doesn't update until I reload the save).

Hi! Great mod! One issue I've found is that it can cause issues with Material Sub-Menu , or perhaps its dependency, Float Sub-Menu .

DW2 is a mod without DLLs, featuring walls designed to link diagonally through zig-zag placement and textures.
This mod displays additional graphics between walls placed diagonally above, automatically generated by cutting and pasting the original textures.
Well, you'll figure it out once you start using it. Do that.

So basically we can creat more organic buildings, like diagonal walls like in the gravship, but on the ground and normal tiles/map? What is the difference with diagonal walls 2 ? Since I never used any of these mods

Updated: Several special options have been added to the Naname wall settings. Using this functionality, default settings have been added for several things that were previously difficult to NANAMEification.

It wasn't specifically intended; since the original def settings are copied, the original hotkeys were copied as well. now I've updated it so the hotkeys are not copied.

Making Y the hotkey for diagonal walls is the height of arrogance. Is there a way to switch it back so regular walls have the hotkey. I build them way more often

a fix ive found is turning off "group naname walls into drop-down menus" in the settings then restarting the game

All existing diagonal walls that I built are still there but they've disappeared from the architect menu and I can't even use "build copy" to bypass it

Before the update, I was using the GloomyFurniture mod's walls without any issues.

After today's update, an error log suddenly appeared, and I can't create walls in the GloomyFurniture mod.

You've probably heard this before so I apologize, but if it would be possible to add support for alpha memes that would be amazing :) They add some extra styles for the base walls and the like.

i can back LS up, it happens on vanilla gravships too. Even fire can jump through diagonal walls, so no fault on his part.

Since this mod only changes the appearance of walls, such behavior should also occur with diagonally placed vanilla walls.

A problem has now arisen: when the pawn is standing in the square between two diagonal walls, it can use melee attacks on the pawn or building in the diagonal square, and it can also repair or construct the building in the diagonal square. I think this issue appeared on the ship's hull in the DLC, but the official patch has fixed it.

Unfortunately, this mod wasn't exactly what I expected when I first discovered it.
All those 'Dia.' Walls cluttering up the interface are a bit distracting.

You clearly showed them in your description pictures though! It was entirely my fault for having the wrong expectations!

I think something happened to my save after the latest update where I no longer get values appearing on the mod configuration for NANAME diagonal walls. They're all locked to default looking walls. It's like it's been completely disabled, and pressing the reset button doesn't seem to do anything.

There are no logs at all with any of these actions, no errors, warnings, or anything.

While wall armor can be enabled via mod settings, it is difficult to achieve a natural appearance, so it is disabled by default
