A wyvern is a type of dragon. A more original form of dragon then the later Christian 4 legged dragon.

This will fit so well with my run as the Cernau dynasty of Cornwall in the 769 start. A dragon flag for the Welsh (formerly Breton) dynasty with a red dragon on a black field!

If the file isn't there, unsubscribe, restart steam, and resubscribe. If it is there, delete both the .mod file and the .zip file, then do the same. Those two options fix any and all problems I have with the workshop.

I followed this guide: http://www.ckiiwiki.com/Title_modding
Specifically the first paragraph in the 'Adding a coat of arms' bit. You'll need photoshop or an equivalent like GIMP to create a .tga file. If all you want to do is change the flag of England, you can just make your new flag, extract this mod, replace my flag with yours and then change the names of the folders and things.

It doesn't matter when or where you start or who creates England, this flat out replaces the default flag. Are you sure the file is in your mod folder?

i subscribed and activated the mod in CK2 but its not working im playing as the Anglo-Saxons and i created england but dont get the flag i get the norman flag, does it matter matter when i start or create england, i started with the old gods dlc

I mentioned before that the flag doesn't change because I wanted it to be ironman compatible. If you want the flag to change depending on culture, search the workshop for "Anglo saxon flag swapper".

This is a great mod, but could you change it so the English get the de Normandie flag? The English identity wouldn't be possible without William conquering, and I loaded a game where William conquered and he flew the Anglo-Saxon flag.

No, it just replaces the flag because I wanted it to be compatible with ironman. So I'd only use this if you want to play as Godwinson, or in 867 or 769. There is another mod that makes the flag change dynamically somewhere on the workshop though.

So just to clarify: if I start my game before the Battle of Hastings and William the Conqueror wins the English Throne, it will revert to the traditional English banner, but if Harold Godwinson wins Hastings it will use this flag correct?

I thought about the gold one, but that is the symbol of Wessex specifically whereas the white dragon is the symbol of the anglo-saxon people in general.
