Yes, I first looked at the decision and it said that I needed to have the doctrine expanded, so I went to the septon, got him to agree, took the decision, but nothing happened afterwards.
Idk if it's from this mod, but at some point I noticed that High Valyrian culture got a new tradition 'socerer princes' with a typo that allowed to take 4 wives. I'm not sure if that's how it was supposed to work or if that was from another mod

Honestly the uprising isn't that hard to beat so I'd give it shot, especially if you have a dragon

The dragon give only 50 and due to "comparative military strength" there is "-12x". Now when I see a code, I know about "knight modifier", but it will be for next playthrough)
(Also I had a minus, due to Jon Snow 0 intrigue stat, and did not try to send request, due to predicted result of decline)

I'm not strong in lore stuff outside of the show - so no comment on that part)

When I get around to it I'll probably rework that part as a whole, but if you have a dragon the high septon will probably say yes. I was trying to simulate the lore with that logic

May I suggest to add it as mod rule settings as default value and give a few lower options?

Reasoning:
Many players, including me, prefer to start from lowest possible(adventure/count) or role play. Often it ends up in 15-30h game just to get to 120k army(not to mention 300k+). In such cases people do not tend to continue playing.
It would be great to have possibility to use your mode in such game session!

I have a huge minus from septon estimating difference in powers:
- at first i had 20k army and modifier was "-4xx";
- after I got to iron throne and had like 120k - "-12x";

The idea is great, but unusable as of now...

maybe need some adjustments or if it is too troublesome - would suggest to not calculate estimated difference in powers and use some other criteria?

Is getting huge success chance reduction on high septon because of our military strength difference intended (due to him getting a giant army on refusal) or is it a submod conflict?

I got the High Septon to agree to the expanded polygamy, but even after taking the decision, I can't take any more wives than before. Is there a debug command I could use to force it through?

After some testing, I believe that this mod is causing some issues within the family UI for dragons since the newest main agot mod update. The parents, grandparents, children, and siblings are appearing twice within the character window. I love the flavor that your mod brings and can't wait for more updates and content!

I'd make it so faith uprising only brings in vassals who are faith of the Seven vassals if a vassal is not Faith of the Seven and they are disgruntled they shouldn't care about what the Faith of the Seven has to say. Also an option to break the High Septon's power like you can with the Papacy in the base game after such a revolt would be good.

Haven't tested it but I imagine it depends on the inheritance law or religion gender law? I honestly don't know

Can you use this as a female ruler? ex. Rhaenys marries jon and aegon, or rhaenyra marries laenor and daemon

Not sure on your end, but when I started a playthrough without this mod then tried to add it, it did not work. I would hit the button to take another wife, but no option would appear. I had to start an entirely new game with the exact same modlist and then it worked.

I got the high septon to accept the new doctrine and made the decision to take a dragon wife but nothing happened after that, no option to take another wife. I'm playing as a Blackfyre if that helps.

Proclaim polygamy exception is the threatening you just have to be the king do it

Yeah this has a bug that affects everyone non-Targ. You get a -200 modifier to any marriage proposal to anyone "does not allow polygamous" Even when you are unmarried and the target is unmarried.

No idea I didn't touch anything that has to do with maesters

Have you figured anything out with the Maester bug? It seemed to only occur after I requested the Polygamy exception by the High Septon.

Oh nevermind! Disregard my previous confusion. I didn't realize I'd have to take a separate decision. My character now has his second wife.

Okay, so I tried this mod again this morning. The marriage bug is gone, but there's something else I'm confused by. I asked the high septon for the polygamy exception and won the faith uprising, but I still can't take a second wife and the interaction with the high septon is gone.

There is this issue that when you are playing as non-Targ, you try to marry yourself or family members, ''' recipient faith doesn't allow polygamous marriage -200 " modifier comes which reduces the marriage acceptance

I am also having the issue where the button to arrange marriage /find spouse keeps disappearing. I was playing in the Baelor start as Viserys II.

No as long as Cersei is married he’s happy as of now. You have to choose Cersei as your first marriage anyhow in order to get her at all

For example in the Defiance of Duskendale, you could betroth Rhaegar to both Cersei and Elia/Lyanna/Ashara? Would it give a debuff in opinion from Tywin?
