Yeah you can assign a texture of your liking for all rock types, including modded ones, using the mod's settings.

I use quite a few mods that provide extra floors/walls/rock types, and was getting sad at inconsistent coloring. So as an experiment I have made a patch which does some more 'greedy' searching for things to recolor: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3557479886

The downside is there is a risk it will recolor things it shouldn't as it is just searching based on names, but I haven't spotted anything so far with my modlist.

@Enrico I hope you don't mind me uploading, the source code is included if you wanted to integrate it, although I am sure it could be cleaned up. It is of course based on what I could understand was happening in the base mod, hope that's okay. Let me know if not and I'll take it down.

- Fixed Regrowth 2's boulders not being recolored.
- Fixed VPE's rock constructs failing to spawn.

There are a couple of compatibility issues with the Regroth 2 mod. Most notably, meteorites fail to load textures when both mods are enabled. Additionally, Regrowth boulders don't inherit the non-default colors from Better Mountains. Any chance any of this this could be fixed on your end, @Enrico? Just in case i'm also asking Helixien.

This is a bit of an odd request, but you know the cobblestone walls made out of chunks? I cant recall if therye vanilla or a modded feature, but I liked how they closely resembled stone walls in vanilla. Do you plan on working on blending walls more closely with the new better mountains texture? thanks

Hi @Enrico , the "Regrowth 2" mod adds random boulders to the game (big minable chunks". Would it be posible to patch those so they use the new textures?

Is there any way to fix Vanilla Psycast Expanded rock construct entity being invisible? It's not invisible when I disable this mod and tweaking the mod settings doesn't appear to help.

If you're talking about Regrowth's connected ore feature, you should disable that feature in their settings. Then you should be good.

Or do you mean the stone floor color? It's inevitably same as a rock color, but you can set it to vanilla.

Oh man why does a mountain mod have retexture of the ground and floors textures?? Drove me crazy trying to find which mod was doing this. Please make it an option to disable? I just want the mountain textures..

Contemplating. I was just toying around to see what the mod is capable of. ideally it would allow some sort of connected texture system that allows sprites larger than the cell it occupies (eg. walls that are visually two tiles tall), but i'm not sure if thats reasonably doable.

I'm dumb: When I use this, my glitterstone rocks are all white. I'm guessing I have to input their colors manually in the settings? Is there an easier way to do this or am I missing something.

The mining tool still operates on a grid, and creates grid-like squares, so I recommend to focus on those squares? If that doesn't help, during the planning phase you can also go back to default textures for a bit.

Random note. If you have a hard time spotting the minerals, you can change the art of each to be the gem image instead of the default mineral image. (Or even the original art.)

(I used Colorblind Minerals before this one and find the default mineral art in this mod a little hard to see at times. Thank you for the ability to pick different options for those of us with bad eyesight.)

Fwiw, Looks like B, F and G have different dimensions.

Texture TanyfilinaCrystalB has dimensions of 140 x 140, but its mask has 256 x 256. This is not supported, texture will be excluded from atlas
