Yes that is the reason. RimPy is making errors with DDS files after RimWorld 1.6
So delete RimPy, use RimSort, and use its feture to auto delete all DDS files and make new once.

I use Rimpy. This time I specifically looked up all files with .DDS in the name and it's fixed. Should I start using RimSort so this problem doesn't happen again?

Are you using RimPy or RimSort? as a mod manager?
RimPy was the one that made the problem for me to start with.
RimSort can fix it as its working.

But to do it manuelly, find the steam content folder named 294100 and then my mods steam folder nemed 3536964873 under the textures folder, delete all DDS file, that should fix the problem if its this mod.

I dont have any other mods loaded besides the Harmony which this mod requires, and I tried with just the base game and DLC's and had no issues so by process of elimination it kinda has to be this mod.

As for if I did it right, I'm honestly not sure. When I unsubscribe the mod folder automatically deletes itself so I can't go in afterwards to delete any DDS files, when I deleted the DDS files before unsubscribing I just searched up any file with the name multianalyzer under the texture folder and deleted all the results then unsubscribed, did I do it wrong?

If you are sure its this mod and the DDS problem as below, then it is fixed. the files are not there any more. so either you did not delete the right files or did not get the mod updated right. :)

Unfortunately it didn't work. I tried just unsubscribing from the mod and deleting the DDS files before unsubscribing from the mod and neither worked. The only other stuff that is loaded are all the DLC's and of course Harmony.

RimSort is better than Rimpy. All the features work. I highly recommend it.

I've never used RimPy; I've heard of it but I don't know what it is. I shall try what you've suggested.

To explain it.
At some point you have used RimPy i guss?

It make some .dds files that are texture files that load faster then normal.
But the game has updated how it works so those files don't work any more.

So to be use all is clean.
Un-sub to the mod, go ind manuel and delete the whole mod folder for this mod.
And then re-sub the mod again so it download all the new files.

That will fix the problems from this mod.
If you still get dds errors there might be other mods that have the same problem.

Sorry, I'm still confused. Do I delete every .dds file? There seem to be a lot of them. Also, weirdly, some of them show in my Explorer window with the GIMP icon and some don't, and I don't know why that is.

Look in the mod folder under steam, and find the .dds files and delete them. its texture files. and if you have some old once they do not work.

I was missing the multi-analyzer texture too -- finding and deleting the relevant DDS file in the mod folder did fix it for me, though.

I have still not been able to find any problems, its there and work fine every time i test with it.
So my only though is you have a mod that conflict or have some bad dds files.

Can confirm the multianalyzer sprite is broken for me as well with this mod. It's a big grey square with a red question mark on it now.

You need to have one of them.
when you then Hit F12 or activate the dev mod in the game options and go into the game log, there is a small green buttom where you can share log.
I just need the link to that.

Its how i can see if there are errors from my mod etc.

Is that not the correct log I sent? When I hit F12 I get a screenshot. That's there too. Where would the log you need generate? Sorry, I haven't had to do this for a Steam game before.

Can confirm the multi-analyzer is broken in this version. Even if this is the only mod (+harmony), the image doesn't load in the Architect menu, and when built its just a red x.

Thank you for the mod, it makes hiding spots way better! The only incompatibility I've had seems to be that it red errors for a few stuff like Adaptive Primitive Storage's small log pile at startup and when placing them, giving this: "Could not load Texture2D at 'SmallLogPile/SmallLogPile_F_north' in any active mod or in base resources. MatFrom with null sourceTex." I think some Defs don't have complete rotation textures for each side or have no textures at all so it errors out (the small log piles have no textures until they get logs stored in them). I can still place them fine despite the errors though.

Some others would be the large log pile as well, "sbz_CorpseSpot" north, east and south from Neat Storage and AM_SkyBurialSlab_south from Alpha Memes.

After adding this mod multi-analyzers have no image in the Architect menu. And when built they are a big, 2x2 sized, red and purple X. I have no idea if this is a conflict or even where I should look to start trouble-shooting.

This mod is great, but here's a few issues that I found, South side of growth vats have been masked wrong, so they're always white. geothermal generators and most of the gene stuff also get masked wierdly, as they're supposed to have glowing parts that get colored over.

I would love to make masks myself for these things but I can't find how you make them, and I'm not sure what the process should be, so I'll leave it to you I guess ? Again, this mod is really great and I'll be using it every single run

Fixed that Medical sometimes lost its sheet color.
Fixed so you now can change sheets on multiple selected beds.

NEW FEATURE: Added a small new feature that allows you to paint multiple selected objects at one time.
Select multiple objects or walls, etc., then right-click the normal paint tool, and you can now click "Paint all Selected".
This works very well with the mod Allow Tool, where you can select all walls in your base, etc., and then now paint all at one time.

Fixed so hidden objects are not paintable.
Think i fixed the transparent default bed sheet, may need more testing.

Any chance you could adjust the mod so it doesn't make Hidden Pipes paintable? (hidden conduit + pipe network mod's hidden pieces)

I took a look at it, when you you two mods that try to replace the same texture it gives you warnings as i use maskes to make it paintable and they do not.

@Victor You try to load two mods that both change textures, its its only textures i do not know way it make the errors. But try load that after my mod and see if that helps.

Assuming its not just my modlist, the game gives warnings about the machining table and cooler graphic and mask being different sizes.

Oh I mean that if the beds are their default color it will show as transparent. Even if you colored it and then switched back which will display them correctly until you load a save.

When loading a save, unless beds have already had their color changed, the sheets have no texture. Even if the bed was recolored and set back to defaults.

Sure sure, I just wanted to let you know. As for Rimpy's texture optimizations, it's better to use RimSort's, I read people recommending against using the one from Rimpy, as it is outdated and can cause problems.

There's a huge difference between errors and warnings; warnings do not break anything in the same way.

But yeah, you are right, I just looked at the texture for the analyzer, and it is a weird size, which is even more weird as I used the game's own texture for it.

But yeah, I stopped using Graphic Settings+ some time ago as it did really not make things much better.
And if you use Rimpy you can convert all textures into DDS that do it fine :)
