The mod doesn't work with servers. Servers always send you the world in chunks. That's why if you drop connection with a server but don't get immediately booted, you can run to an unloaded part of the world and get nothing. Unsure if it creates lag when loading new parts of the world as a client, I don't play multiplayer.

They'll function as they always did. This mod just loads every tile in the world when you join the world. The entire world isn't active all the time.

Additionally, if you're concerned about performance, do NOT play Wrath of the Gods. Just having the mod enabled and in a world reduces my framerate to 110 from 144. Exact same world. Exact same character. Didn't even restart tmod fully before disabling.

As far as I can tell, this doesn't significantly impact memory usage. The things that do is your mod list. Also, don't reload mods. Just restart tModLoader. Disable large content mods such as Calamity. Playing with Calamity and all its music mods adds 1.5 gigabytes to my RAM usage passively.

The game will freeze for several seconds when opening a world, yes. That's how it works. TerRoguelike does the same thing.

nvm i just found out that the mod "Optimized cursor" had been the reason for my fps to constantly drop to 20 all along, deinstalled it and now i got myself solid 60fps

So, TerRogue do same to any world i create? I just schecked that load is BIG like 60fps(4500000)numbers. with this and TerRogue, except that TerRogue not lagginc my game that i got "not responding" dindow for a few second every time i enter world

i'm already using the "PotionSafe" mod to constantly suck in the items, and i didn't mean to highlight the worldgen items issue as the main thing here, the actual issue is that these kinds of things happen constantly, when a lot of items exist for no reason at all and just lag your game, so just reloading the game is a really short-term fix

They're already all compatible. Nothing would change. If items being in the world is a problem, cheat in Ceaseless Hunger potions (If you're playing Calamity). You can't really unload them without making them despawn entirely, and at that point just reload the world to get rid of them if you don't care about the items.

what if you'll combine these mods together? make them more compatible than ever, better and add some original tweaks, like for example i've noticed that the game fs simulates items far beyond the players screen, even at the ends of the world, and if there are a lot of them then the game starts to lag, which is achievable with just a pretty modded playthrough when during worldgen a lot of blocks replace each other and drop as items as the result. I hadn't seen anyone adress this issue yet. the "Lag remover" also has some cool tweaks that Frenetic Optimizations doesn't have.
On the other hand though, i'm pretty sure i had sucked the maximum of my pcs' potential, like for example a couple of days ago i had made a .bat file to automatically disable unnecessary services every time i reinstall windows, so some in-game optimization mods are the only thing that'd help me atp

Look into optimizing your hardware and anything you can get rid of in Windows to improve performance from there. If you're experiencing thermal throttling, look into undervolting. If your computer has processes eating a lot of resources, see if you can disable them with Google. Close Discord. Discord is a CPU whore. If the "System" process is eating a lot of performance, that's either drivers or hardware, and either way that's not a good sign. You'll have to figure it out.

Frenetic Optimizations is about the best you can do, because it limits the amount of updates the game does. High FPS Support additionally has black tile optimization, which helps quite a lot. There's not much else you can do about the lighting engine being ass. Or god forbid glowing dust.

Some additional optimization mods include Frenetic Optimizations, High FPS Support, and Clientside Lag Prevention. You'll have to play around with the configs to figure out what works for you. This mod shouldn't create lag, either. But maybe it could on some hardware configurations.

Is there a mod that does the opposite? Cause the Calamity mod and TerRougelike both near kill my computer when running the game and if this is what they have in common it must be the problem feature.

Calamity does not have this in the game yet. It's something that was added in the Sunken Sea update that isn't out yet. If you're playing with TerRoguelike, it doesn't matter if you have the setting on or not. It does basically the same thing.
