No point in updating a mod just to bump the target game version. Also mods can add backwards compatibility, and the game does not have a system for that in place. Why would this be necessary, you might ask? Users can backport to 1.9.07b and 1.9.15b from the Betas menu in their game library.

I could but that becomes annoying when the game updates and the mod still works fine, which happens with a lot of minor patches that come after major releases

Would it be possible to automatically set the target game version when people upload?
No one ever does it and it is annoying

I was mostly referring to the in-game exclusive res of 426x240, workshop thumbnails IIRC have a fixed size limit of 636x358, so yeah when re-using a thumbnail for both it'll be a bit mushy on the workshop; a bit of an annoying discrepancy ngl ^^ it is what it is.

@Rawra no, it just enforces 16:9 like the game does. Not sure 426x240 would even show up well on Steam in some places

Not really that important for most use cases, but it'd be sweet if this included metadata support (via SetItemMetadata as part of the Steamworks UGC Interface)

Also: Does this mod also enforce the in-game thumbnails to be 426x240? Its pretty expensive for the game to resize to that resolution if not, so it would make sense to kinda "nudge" devs to actually use this res for their mods, and this mod might be just the thing to do that.

Peak mod tho.

dude i dont know what's going wrong in my files

all i know is i tried to install a mod i had made a long while ago, and somehow managed to make it to where mods in the mods folder won't install at all

the beta vinki file's the only working one i know of

@AviY2K you can disable command prompts popping up somewhere in the bepinex config giles. I'm very confused as to how you managed to turn that on if you didn't want it to begin with because it's off by default

@NonIdiot no. you don't get to choose the id of a new mod, that box is only for mods you are updating that already exist. I am pretty sure Steam will give you an error if you try to upload it to some workshop id that doesn't exist.
