There's another issue now. Should producing one unit of Nutrient Paste Kibble consume less Nutrient Paste? But currently, each unit of kibble consumes 1 unit of Nutrient Paste. I noticed this problem after my 2400 units of Nutrient Paste were depleted quickly.

update 3: yes, installing a vanilla feeder seems to have jump-stgarted all the others. however, just installing it wasn't enough; i had to uninstall and re-install it to get it to fillitself, but as soon as it did, all my other feeders filled too! thank you, @LINX!

update 2: only temporarily, alas! and i noticed that *is* affecting my fine feeder, too; people just weren't pulling from it. it seems like whatever ticks the feeders to replenish them isn't ticking

I have the same issue. Everything was working fine just a couple days ago. None of the this mod's feeders are functioning now. Once the nutrient paste inside gets consumed, no new paste is generated. I discovered that as long as there's at least one original vanilla Nutrient Paste Expanded feeder present on the map, all the other feeders will start working properly again. Probably because Vanilla Expanded Framework has been updated.

Has anyone else noticed that some of their refrigerated feeders are no longer refilling lately? my fine feeder is still working, but all my refrigerated simple feeders are staying empty, despite plenty of food in the network. Since this mod hasn't changed, i assume updates to some other mod have broken things. any suggestions for where to start looking?

so if i got this right, as far as efficiency and mood, simple-paste-meal = simple-meal, packed-paste = packaged-survival-meal, and cubes are slightly more efficent than pemcan. if that's right is there is no real reason to make their vanilla counterparts once you have a nutrient paste system set up?

LINX, original VNPE had only support for official Hospitality few months ago, so it inherited this patch from there. I see they recently swap it for continued one, will add it too then, but a bit later since currently I'm quite busy.

I have a lavish nutrient paste feeder that has 10 food packs on it but my colonist don't take it to eat and starve to death. Do i need to do something extra for them to eat it?

It's a good mod. It's even a bit cheaty because it doesn't require a chef. But I just don't use fancy dishes.
The mod is addictive. I don't want to go back to the old pasta.

ihmisdildo, this mod doesn't change food priority of existing paste or food. So it quite possible you have something else unrelated to VNPERP affecting it. If you still sure that it caused only by VNPERP, then report it in Issue discussion thread with logs and more info for me to try reproduce it on my end.

Zahnloli, it should be pretty obvious, since while normal grinder will grind one stack in X amount of time, while high tech one will take only X/8 amount of time. Cause normal one grind produce only one paste from needed ingredients, while high tech one can produce up to 8 at the same time, consuming corresponding quantity of ingredients. Just imagine that you have giant colony, that goes through your paste really fast, so you need to really fast produce paste from ingredients. Which is that for production of 8 nutrient paste per grind you would need 8 normal grinders or only 1 high tech one.

I do have a question: What point is there in any of the upgraded grinders? They still only use one hopper at a time and sicne you have storage vats to buffer paste there's no real need to buffer food in multiple hoppers

Correction: The ingredients are not mixed. You can no longer use rice or beets if the container contains corn paste.

Readtext, all code regarding grinders is made by VNPE devs, while hoppers contain same plants as vanilla one. So if any plant is not getting grinded into liquid paste, then it should be reported to VNPE devs.

@Snowy, I happened to encounter a similar problem. My understanding was that this happens due to different types of ingredients in your paste system: meat, human meat, insect meat, fungus, veg and similar. You might check that by inspecting produced pastes, if I am right you will find different types separated into different stacks around and in the feeder.

Snowy, base feeders made by parent VNPE mod, so if same happen even with normal feeder, then it should be reported to them. If it happening only with VNPERP feeders, then report it with logs in issue discussion thread.

i found a problem with the nutrient paste feeders. it isnt placing nutrient paste on the feeder and just keeps spawning it around it until it spends up all my nutrient paste :c

the kibble feeder always keeps itself at 150 despite wanting it to be lower than that, hell i can tell it to store nothing and itll still keep itself topped up.
