The Luger model itself is said to come from the actual LGL cutting room floor, and its animations come from another unfinished weapon - the integrally suppressed HDM pistol. The poor folks at the M.U.G. team can't even make new animations and have to resort to hacked together existing assets. Despite that, the game today is much better than it was after LGL effecively abandoned it. Raid WW2 is a passion project, a game too funny for its fans to let die.
