Them not blocking EVAC is more of our problem because we do not account for NextBots while looking through nearby NPCs; this is something I should fix, but didn't consider it critical enough, so I wrote it off as "unexpected behaviour."
As for what you could do to help, if you like -- look at the source code of this addon, look at [lua/autorun/npcs.lua], function nextBotErrorBypass. There's a function that replaces GenericGibs, because these in particular keep causing errors *specifically* when played in Map Sweepers. In theory you could fork, remove my GenericGibs bypass, see what it looks like in-game and figure something out on how to fix it. Thanks in advance, glad you're enjoiyng the gamemode!
Hey, thanks for leaving a comment. Yeah, most of the bugs seemed to stem from the fact that at least some DrGBase nextbots (or DOOM Demons in particular, not sure) assume the gamemode to be sandbox, because I had lua errors that were not reproducible in Sandbox. Particularly ones related to gibbing. As for the lag, I am not sure if there's actually anything to be done, because I know myself exactly how bad lua lag can get (especially with navigation and AI) so all I could do is put a warning.
(hopefully someone will do that eventually, even if the original mantroid mod is discontinued,it still works, also yes the mod IS named mantroid and not actully metroid there)
