I played for an hour earlier with EE.
Maybe u have some mods that are messing up with online game?

I dont know how is that handled. Workshop mods on PW servers.

Why dont you join discord and talk to people see if problem can be found?

Yes and No.
Camping is similar to farming. While farming is Ok. Camping here is considered more like Botting. Afk placing character to just auto kill stuff

Hi all i read every rule as i sync to this PW.. I just don't 100% understand what is camping? I guess it's farming exp on a spot or staying in a dungeon for respawns? Thanks in advance

Update. Please Mind that using multiple login screens is not advised.
Still no support for OG PW. But you can connect to EE servers now.

Changing custom login to work with different custom server? Sure. Thats easy.
But actually using one and or mixing multiple permanent worlds , that is a bad idea. If both servers have their own mods it will all merge in same folder. Causing heavy issues.

Use-home command for other servers and different mods in tha thome

I wanted to let you know that someone has figured out how to host a PW using the Steam Workshop and direct connect. It's a little buggy but it works.

I have to unsubscribe from this though since your direct connect button in your custom login doesn't seem to work.

That is left over from old gamespy. It was required fix so it doesnt pop error.
Anyway it doesnt hurt you. Its not written anywhere. Just default override.

At this moment there really is no need for login screen for persistent worlds as you cant actually play on them with EE.

I will do clean up and updates when Aspyr update/fixes the game.

Deleting them doesn't seem to make a difference either. To clarify, I never entered anything into the password field and I didn't check the box to save the password.

The first option. On a side note, I've noticed that three characters are being automatically entered into the password field when I now click onto Direct Connect to bring up your launcher. Their presence doesn't keep me from connecting to the downloader.

Which realm did u connect to? Maybe that realm already downloaded custom login xml files and was overwriting mod?

There is going to be a lot of issues with workshop and multiple permanent worlds. They cant all exist together. And you cant have multiple login screens active they will overwrite each other

I haven't been editing my .ini files if that's what you mean. The only modifications I've done is selectively adding and removing a few mods to my override folder to see if they work with NWN:EE.

As for your original issue.
Maybe edited .ini files were the cause. Mod should help in that regard because u dont need to edit ini your self.

As far as I can tell, they went into the usual Neverwinter Nights 2 documents folders, just like if you join a server on the GoG version.

That said, I haven't added -home bit to the steam launch commands. I just zipped my original GoG NWN2 documents folder before launching NWN:EE for the first time. I'm not sure if that would make a difference.

Your problem left me bit confused tho. Where did your downloaded files go?
To my documents? or to steam workshop folder?
Downloaded files from documents should not have priority over workshop but it seems that they do?

Perhaps this is a field that doesn't do anything yet, but I was able to log on to Realms of Trinity and start downloading again without entering a username and password. I think Aspyr intends to force players to use their steam handle as their multiplayer username. I joined a player hosted game yesterday and my username in chat was my Steam handle.

I can work on the mod more. And add more custom servers. Expand the Ui to be more flexible

Btw, multiplayer is not really functional. You can connect to the server. But once you do , there is not much you can do. Mouse will be invisible and you can only alt+f4.

Aspyr is supposedly working on a fix.

Yeah, it just freezes as soon as I press direct connect. I'm guessing it's the files I downloaded before when I tried to manually connect with the IP address. I'll clear out my document folder and see if that fixes it.

Hello. I got a chance to give this a try. I clicked on Direct Connect, but the game seems to hang up. I just need to subscribe to add this, correct? Or is this one of those workshop items where it adds the files and you need to drag them to a certain folder?

Also, I already downloaded the server files when I tried to direct connect with the IP address earlier. Should I delete all those files from my documents folder?

Access to the new menu is under Multiplayer->direct connect.
