Good question. I had to browse quite a bit of the game's code to find the answer. The answer is: No, increasing the limit of thrusters does not affect the gravship launch quality. Large thrusters provide +3% each, and small thrusters provide +1% each. That's all there is to their effect on the launch quality.
Launch quality says 40, one of the reasons it gives is that I have 6/128 thrusters
Is this mod going to make my launches turn out bad?
No ranges are currently changed by this mod

- Fixed compatibility with Grav Field Extender Hull
I personally only want more Field Extenders - to have like max Size of 3500 and my current blueprint / plan I have of my Galactica is 103 long.
So does this mod extend the range as well?
Technically every single mod is a "cheat" to the base game. Do what is fun to you. If you want 8 extenders, use 8. If you want 20, use 20. Just have fun! Nobody is going to judge you :)
I'll still use this mod for the time being, as I feel more comfortable with 2500 tiles instead of 2000 for sure.
Also @Greb it's an XML patch so you can go into the mod folder and just change the settings to taste usually, though it'll get "fixed" whenever the mod updates something like an XML extensions version that's configurable would be nice but that's a bit more complex to set up I imagine
I don't use that one, but sure. Added a compatibility patch for those.

Unfortunately no. I intentionally decided not to make settings on this one, because I want this mod to be a lightweight XML patch. Having settings would require patching via C#. What's wrong with just stopping at 8 if you want that, while technically being unlimited?

I know I could limit myself, but I'm terrible at that, but if I could configure the mod to just add 2 more small gravship pieces, that'd be great.
Right now those grav extenders are limited to 6.
I think that only makes sense to increase as well. So here you go :)
