You have an interesting idea though and it's very doable, I think it would go great in a mod that has bigger scope than this. The main issue with these dialogue packages is just how repetitive it is to setup for each faction/squad/character. It's very easy to make errors manually setting up each package for each faction.
I might try my hand at a bigger "leader ally benefits" mod once I give it some time, cause I've been modding the game more than playing it.
But I like the implementation.
I highly recommend Recruit Prisoners for Cats, it's based on the original Recruit Prisoners mod but adds a cost to the recruitments. It's been a decent but worthwhile money sink and feels more balanced and earned.
