I was able to pick up bricks from pallets in vanilla even without this mod. I think it gives you 20 bricks. I didn't check the haystacks.

@Mushroom-R, the good way to learn is by just sucking it up and programming by hand. I'd argue it's both enjoyable and more intuitive to figure things out as you go. But... I guess that's just my take on it.

@ladyteruki, So make it. Its not hard to learn. Use ChatGPT and debug mode. You will crank out a mod like that with 0 knowledge in one evening. Maybe the tedious parts like adding loot will take some time the day after but that is the easy part and might take some time.

Would you consider doing something equivalent for the banks/post offices ? I don't know how it's called in English but they have these grey storages that have no functionality. Retrieving (randomized ?) mail or valuables from them would be cool :) No pressure though.

They fixed it, but hay was not fixed. So like the guy below me said, call the mod "Now, you can take Hay".

For anyone curious, this mod still works with the new update. You are now presented with two options to take bricks. One gives you 15 and the other gives you 20.

There isn't any game breaking issues, you can just lose 5 bricks if you guess the wrong one. Hopefully Mamoon can just remove the brick feature and keep the hay.

@lithographer you can go into the lua files for the game just change one line of code to say 32 instead of 15.
that's what i did as soon as i saw your comment, before i even loaded the game with the mod.

Yeah, it's odd you don't get the full amount of bricks. It'd be neat if there was a sandbox option to adjust the amount of bricks/hay you could "Harvest"
