Thank-you for your suggestions. I had already been considering making sunlight uncomfortably bright (as the creation kit allows me to differentiate between light that comes from the sun and other sources) for vampires but thought it was so obvious that Beth probably already had something like this going on. If that's not the case, and Beth hasn't done anything in the way of Imods for vampires besides night-eye, I'll definitely work it in.
CreepingDarkness mentioned this to me on the Nexus site. Despite knowing that dogs being colourblind is a myth, I chose to go with black-and-white for aesthetic and immersive reasons. I may look into including a dichromatic (true dog-vision) option in the future, though.
That sounds to be the same issue that living20 jr encountered. My instinct here is that you are both using mods which make use of the werewolf feeding magic effect for something other than werewolves (in your case vampires and in his, raw chicken). I should be able to remember this myself but for now can you think of any mod you are using which may be toying with the effects of feeding either as a vampire or otherwise?
it says so in the categories, maybe people just can't read :P
You do not have Dawnguard installed. See Red is currently Dawnguard dependant and I'm afraid that until the next update rolls out you will not be able to use this mod without that DLC installed. That is why you are experiencing crashes before even loading the game. I am glad we could get to the bottom of this problem but am sorry nonetheless for it.
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing crashes with my mod. Thing is, See Red is far too simple at this point to be causing that issue alone. Do you have other mods installed? If so, would you mind providing a list? There may be an incompatibility with one of them. More likely, though, is that the addition of just one more mod has agrivated a pre-existing issue with your load order.
Thank-you for the information. However, based on how the redness of your screen increases with each raw chicken eaten, I'm inclined to disbelieve that your problem is the fault of See Red. Although I claim no infalibility, my imagespace modifiers do not stack like that. To start, I think multiple iterations of the same modifier overwrite each other anyway, but to be on the safe side my scripts deliberately cancel potentially pre-existing imods before applying new ones. In short; my imods can only make your screen red, they can't make your screen more red when applied twice.
I'm not washing my hands of this, though. Keep me posted on your progress in case there's something I can do to help or it turns out I'm wrong. To save me some time, maybe you could consider uninstalling all other mods, starting a new game and seeing if the problem persists with just See Red installed?
Eating raw chicken breast doesn't reproduce this bug for me. Are you sure See Red was at fault? Since reinstalling, can you now eat raw chicken without the bug occurring?
Thank-you for bringing this to my attention. I already have suspiscions about what might be causing your problem and a couple ideas on how to fix it but it would help me out a lot if I could recreate the bug for myself to see. To help me with that, would you mind specifying the food item(s) you ate to make the screen go red? I'm afraid "raw meat" was a litle too vague for me to pinpoint the culprit myself.
For now, though I sincerely hope you reloaded an earlier save to get rid of the red-screen, the console command 'teofis' might give you some peace at the expense of also disabling other Imods.
Just a suggestion.
