tbh this is hilarious and interesting unit for the bretonnians but i would like to see a variant of this that has platforms and archers mounted on top of the shell like the big spiders of orcs

That's a very close minded approach. I don't use it to charge, I use it to protect my infantry and archers.

I have an idea you may want to consider. What about giving it a orcs style howdah? A platform on its back, where a pair of peasant mob can stand on the back and ride it to battle? Maybe peasant archers if you want it to be actually good lol.

There's a similar situation in another game, where you can have a snail howdah, and the idea of bretonnian peasants riding it to war like it's an elephant is too funny to ignore.

There is also a blogspot called mars minatures which has an Oldhammer Monster Manual page, and it contains fun little things like Winged Bears, Owlbears, Shambling Mounds and Ormyrr (which looks like Jabba the Hutt with four arms and swords).

If I may then Kou I have perhaps a suggestion. Bretonnia doesn't receive much love and do have a rather limited roster. I love the idea of them receiving a few, fun monsters. Perhaps a giant, noble Pig (not boar), or for greater cuteness a giant Guinea Pig? I love the idea unique and cute monsters shared between the Wood Elves and Bretonnia :)
