这个模组修改了锡、铜和铁节点的产量,使其永远不会耗尽,但保留了原有的基于概率的掉落率和每次敲击的掉落数量,同时完全移除了粗石作为潜在掉落物。如果在某种奇迹下,你能从某个节点开采出超过2万亿单位的资源,这个模组还会在节点完全耗尽6小时后使其重新生成。我们还禁用了采矿时镐的 durability 损耗,并允许从位于中立村庄区域内的节点采集资源(如果这些节点在村庄的影响范围内)。

it would have been nice to get a response while you were also responding to Dyne who posted not long after i did.
not that it matters much now because seems i now have the answer, the nodes don't respawn at all, whether it is a depleated node before the mod is installed or depleted after the mod is installed. waiting 6 game hours or 6 real hours doesn't respawn them, so once they are gone, they are gone.
i only have one other mod installed, the bandit loot mod, i suppose im going to be told that there could be a conflict with this mod?

so what exactly is this mod for? because i now have 4 orangy/red spots where the tin used to be, so no endless tin there and 3 real days have past, and now i am working my way through the only iron i have found on the map holding out hope that this mod might just work and give me endless iron.
on a good note, no stone was mined nor did the pickaxes break.

i installed this mod in the hope that it will restore the tin mines near my main base, just opened the game and it hasn't so i am curious, in your description it says 'this mod also enables node respawning 6 hours after full depletion. will this happen? is this 6 hours ingame time or 6 real hours?
i have totally run out of tin and cannot find any more on the map i have uncovered so far and my production of bronze has come to a standstill.

The following, is the vanilla values for Copper/Tin nodes:

Copper/Tin Node
907 Outputs
6.5% chance to give Copper/Tin Ore
5% chance to give Crude Stone
88.5% chance to give... Nothing

As we can see here, you had almost the same chance of getting a piece of stone, as you did a piece of copper or tin ore. If you claim to have never gotten stone, when you had your guys set to mining copper, without the mod, you are lying. 100%. No cap. You lying.

Villagers spent more time bringing back stone, than they did copper, wasting countless hours. A request was made, to remove the stone from the drop table entirely, so we did. You dont have to like it. You can just, not use the mod. Hell, you can even make your own mod, exactly how you want it, if you so wish to.

If someone has a mining hut at an ore location (even with rocks around) the villager doesn't mine the stone. At least mine don't. They'll only hit the copper nodes. I've watched them. If they will mine stone, they seem to prioritize picking up loose rocks laying on the ground once their ore quota is filled, causing them to venture off and become subject to patrols. Just seemed would be a more logical choice to reduce the amount of stone that comes out of ore nodes so it's on par with or less common than ore itself, not eliminate it entirely.

If people's outposts are getting full, it sounds like they need to learn how to set up deliveries. It's this whole thing made so outposts don't fill up. Its fine if you don't agree with my criticism.

You must be new here Sky. You see, we were the first modder of this game, before the modkit was even a thought. One of the biggest complaints, was how Mining Outpost storages, would fill up with Stone, with no way to get rid of it. As a result, we were asked if we could simply, remove stone all together, so that when you went Copper mining, you only took home the copper, dropped the stone and let it fade away. Behold, this mod was born. We did not "ruin" anything, since every single rock node in the world, still exists. If you need stone, you can set your camps to go get... stone. Crazy right? Just because you are not privy to the almost 2 years of mod development, doesnt mean "no one asked/wanted". If you dont want to use the mod, dont use it. Simple as that.

Mod: "You can still get stone, by hitting stones... all we did was change the thing nobody wanted us to change that stops NPCs from conveniently getting stone while mining for ore. Stone still exists... as... stone, but you gotta do it yourself now. We decided that in order to give you an infinite amount of ore from a node, that we needed to balance that by ruining something else.

You can still get stone, by hitting stones... all we did was remove stone from three specific node types in the game. Stone still exists... as... stone. :o

im all good with inf nodes but why take the stone out of the equation, its still needed and having to hunt for it just to get certain buildings built it kinda blows when you could just have some in the storage from your mines. is there a way to alter this to where stone still exist

This mod doesnt change anything on stone nodes, or granite nodes. It affects the three node types it says it does, and thats it.

Hey just wanted to point out that if you want to get crude stone so lets say from a stone node you don't get anything whatsoever i think this should be changed personally and for the other nodes (iron copper tin ) for this feature to be implemented there but not on stone nodes. this is also the case for the other mining overhaul mods

Aye, this mod does not change the chance of getting something from a node. It simply removes stone as an option. This leaves you with around a 10% chance to get an ore, and a 90% chance to get nothing at all. Each type of node, has its own rates, we are just using 10%/90% as placeholder examples.

If you want guaranteed ore per hit, use one of the guaranteed variant options.

so i tested it out cause of last comment, there is no stones dropping but tbh i like that, my start is next to the tin south of the starting location, it feels like its dropping nothing cause thats mining in this game but i did get tin, n i went to the copper near the pond south of starter n got copper there,

from what i can tell the nodes work fine, without stone which is good imo,
i cant say now if the node respawn as intended but yh seems fine

to the other guy i played game since came out and when mining for ore u can sometimes be there wacking away at it for ages n get nothing but a lil stone, lil tip is as the pick axe hits the rock reclick, then u hit it faster then holding the click down so that will speed things up for you

Currently when you go south from the starter town to the Y part, there is a single tin node, that does not drop anything anymore. Not even stones. Same goes for the copper ones south of the first city were you kill the three wolves. - Not sure if it's my safe , but I was sure I haven't cleared those yet, since I just started doing the first few copper and tin.

We like the original chance values, as they are. We just hated getting mostly stone, and having no where to put it, causing outposts to cease production due to it. As for a building to make it endless, that already exists in vanilla at T3, the Pit.

We are not opposed to making a higher chance based version, but that likely wont be until we eventually stop being lazy, and convert all of our mods into a single, massive toggle/slider based one. We are just really bad at UIX development, so havnt done that yet.

@Void Kitten Is it possible to make the "Chance-Base" a bit higher and make Crude Stone still drop and Pickaxes have vanilla durability?

I would prefer to make them deplete after some while, but respawning after a few Days or so would be really cool to prevent abusing this with Fast Travel and insane speed in gathering them Ores.

The Vanilla System of mining in Bellwright is just so bad, we should get some Buildings in higher Tier to make them Ores Endless while getting Stone aswell, the "Chance-Based" gathering is underwhelming because the Drop Rate for all kind of Ores and Stone is sometimes ridicilous, but making them Endless or even always drop on hit is way too cheaty
