I feel like it could use an effect coming from the eyes that isn’t just the smoke n lightning, maybe a stream of lightning leaving the eyes could work

Hmm. Is it just me or do the discharges look distinctly like the one from sapped - aka Anime-aura? I'm a sucker for anime, but I don't like that one, so by extension this one's going to be a pass for me.
