also fun fact: the canals in the half-life 2 beta was supposed to be infested with xen fauna. This mod helps recreate some elements of the beta canals.

very good atmosphere and concept! Reminds me of the Alone mod for half-life 2. I'd love to see the whole Route Kanal chapter finished!

Brought a free tv with me throughout the whole campaign.
I really love the atmosphere of the canals, Destroyed and infeseted with a creepy ambience.

The concept is cool as hell, the part with the zombies attacking a combined soldier is really awesome and the whole idea and the mapping in general has a lot of potential, although I would appreciate more changes or alternative routes with different interactions, but that's just personal, very good job dude:headcrab::headcrab:

it says it overrides the canal section of hl2 but for me it isnt unless i got it wrong or something

actually really good. if u ever finish it i recommend u make it a campaign patch + make the rest of the intro night to fit in too :-)

It seems to me that this is an alternate timeline where the combine successfully suppresses the uprising before the arrival of Alyx and Gordon to City 17 but most of it was left in ruins.
Excellent map and very fun to play, for the demo it is quite advanced ;). Although a recommendation is that for the full version you put some background environment (shots, zombie screams or whatever) since in some parts there is a lot of silence.

We don't go to city 17 canals. I had a ton of fun exploring and surviving. However, even tough it's supposed to be night time and spooky, some areas should have a few more lights for player guidance. Anyway, hope you continue the project.

nice and spooky, though i couldn't figure out how to get down to the shelter section in the final map, and there's a sound that plays 2 or 3 times when the antlion guard appears that's insanely loud.
