If you send me an autosave from before you lost the vassal I can investigate it. The code itself should only fire when a war concludes.

Instantly lost a vassal for some reason. It went back to the empire it was originally a part of. No conquering nothing just instant flipped and im at war. Idk if it was a glitch or what but this is my only vassal mod.

Uhm. Just asking if this is possible. Would it be too much adding another mod, that gives you the possibility to transfer vassals during the war? Like changing loyalty or installing a puppet government? So you dont have to fight off the entire coalition for example and have the chance to even the odds by occupying close subjects. Its still very tedious to win against a coalition.

Does 1 country have to occupy over 75% of enemy's vassal state? Or is it okay that the sum of occupancies of my state and my allies over the state is greater than 75%?

Yes, your allies can help you.

The mod first checks if all of the war participants combined achieve the 75% planet occupation. A planet only counts as occupied if you or your allies control both the star system and the planet (can be two different empires for planet and starbase). If a third party scoops in and takes the star base, it doesn't count anymore.

When you achieve the 75% occupation, the mod then determines the empire with the most occupied planets and transfers the vassal to them. In a tie, the occupied systems is used as a tiebreaker. Any planets or systems occupied by a vassal count towards their overlord for this calculation.
