One nitpick, though: you only need to store your sounds in .wav if you want to make use of sound-looping cues. Storing long sounds as mp3 will save LOTS of space and the sound will work fine in game, despite stock valve hammer refusing to play the sound. Hammer++ plays mp3s just fine.

As a suggestion, can ya add some dust particles and heat blurr effect? It would be atmospheric.
What part of Caspian coast you trying to replicate?
