forgot to mention this but im not subscribed to the original quicknade mod by datae

hey for some reason everytime i press my binded quicknade button it throws the original quicknade instead of this one the odd thing is i only found out after the console said +quicknade was an unknown command and used vmanip keybind menu

yes i've also seen similar issues to other creators who dabbled with making smoke grenades. but personally speaking, i wouldn't mind it not having any mechanics at all lol, its just the animation and the smoke effect itself would feel cool enough for me as a subscriber.

@pavane hey it's you! so uh, at one point i was making a smoke version, i had the viewmodel ready and everything, it's just i could't find any fun gameplay mechanics for it, i tired making it so that when the player was inside the smoke the enemies could't see you, but it didn't work all to well, so i scraped it :/

Can you add options to disable the blinking light and chirping sound?

I thought that the initial stutter I got whenever I used the vmanip addon is because of the equipped progress. But as I see from your file I extracted, the addon doesn't have a sweep. So, that's hypothesis of mine was incorrect.

@Resistλnce Member⁰⁷, I couldn't tell that the issue relates to any other addons I subscribed/downloaded as I don't have dynamic shadow mod. Noticeably, only this grenade throwing vmanip has this issue, the others don't. I have a similar situation with the warzone armor vmanip by vmanip, but I fixed the issues by equipping the sweep of that addon right at spawn. When I applied the same method with your vmanip grenade throwing addon, it couldn't fix the issue.

@LostCV6 mh, im sure it's just some other addon causing the issue, i had the same issue, and it ended up being some dynamic shadow mod that was causing the lag

Hi, the addon is amazing. However, whenever I first use the grenade throwing, the game stutter for a moment. This happens once in every game start.

I had PD3 grenade installed, before I installed this one. I'll try faactory reset on gmod, since the viewmodel-worldmodel? keeps tweakin out.

@Cynix could you give me some steps on how to recreate this bug? I personally never had this happen to me.

sometimes when you throw the grenade, the viewmodel tweaks out a bit an kinda dupes itself.

Would using the HL2 model also not be simple to do for you? Helps us not require a dependency to use your mod and we can apply our own reskins to it for the world models...using the Juniez models gives us less customization.

@Frederick if you looked at the description I said that it works with any other mod that includes Juniez's model aka mods like those Ez2 weapon animations which usually include Juniez's models

Does this specificly require the individual grenade replacement or does it work with the full remodel addon?
