@tankofdarkness, TF2's painting system does not allow you to paint yourself in the opposing team's color. The red and blue paint seen in the paintable slide is called Team Spirit, which adapts to your team, it's team-specific. It’s not possible to paint yourself blue when you're on RED, or red when you're on BLU. Demoman, without any cosmetics, doesn’t have any team-colored elements in the head region. Class recognition isn’t a problem, as the cosmetic covers such a small area and doesn’t change their silhouette.

not exactly sure if the mask fits demoman but the thing is i like the concept and even think this is something the demoman would do in the comics, like he would be drunk as hell and somehow has infiltrated a high level security facility. my only critic is the way the eye holes look and maybe the neck fitting but other than that the model looks fine

It still doesn't look as good compared to if it was just placed properly. There are a hundred cosmetics that make the same joke and it just makes the cosmetic look worse. We know his eye is gone because he has an eyepatch. Right now it just looks like broken facial textures.
