It has 999 uses because it's a group fast travel sign, not a single person travel sign.
The group travel system is normally restricted to 1 use, then you have to repair/refill it to use it again.
The resources are reduced to make it easier to construct signs.

Why does the mod make it so i only need to use one of each resource and it now has "999" limited uses?
Vanilla ones have no limit from what i can see.

I have cleared out my C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\ and C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bellwright\Bellwright\Content\Paks~mods
folders and reinstalled this one. Every time I loss the travel feature. Oh well.....

I have removed all mods and reloaded this one. I still can not access the signs. Do it matter what kind of army you have, in terms of companions or reservist?

You might have another mod interfering with this one in that case.
I've been using it ever since I created the mod and it hasn't had that issue. (and I'm showing 2,147 subscribers who haven't mentioned that issue).
So might be worth checking your mod list to see if anything affects travel signs.

@AveryValiant, I haven't stepped my foot into making mods for this game yet but the way I would go about this logically is to utilize the village build type. Again I haven't opened the modkit but if you can duplicate a village build item like the gaming table then just change its functionality to be that of a signpost with teleporting it should be allowed to be placed in town as a "village signpost"

Can't be done, as far as I can tell. I did try to make it work, but there's something in the code which blocks placement, even when it's set to place anywhere.

Could you update it to allow placing this even in village areas? I want to save time traveling back and forth between villages.

I'm not 100% sure where this is controlled, I've tried digging for the possible area that does this

For those getting conflict messages with other mods, I'm removing the test map from this mod and recooking now, should be done in a few minutes.
Apologies, I didn't realise it had cooked with the test map.

Personally I would not make them any cheaper to make, they are so cheap now that this change just feels too cheap. However, making them more expensive will make others upset, so I would leave the cost as vanilla.

If it could be possible to adjust in settings with sliders for example or inserting a value, it would mean everyone can decide for themselves what a balanced cost for placing or per travel would be. for example each time you fasttravel with a party it costs 10-100 renown or gold, but it might be a big coding job so even placing one of these signs costing 500-1000 renown for example make sit more balanced i would say. makes oyu think about where oyu need it instead of spamming it all over the map. Just a thought

I agree Deinsensai, but it's finding the right balance. Some want is all, some want less, but how much less?
VoidKitten just released their version which might suit your needs better, if not let me know and I'll make a less cheaty version, if you can give me specifics of what you want in it.

Would be cool if we can get just a reduced cost Mod with Group Travel, still cost renown and ressources but only a bit less to make it not too cheaty but more reliable when placing hundereds of them in the World to Fast Travel
