- For the confederation character interaction, the Warcraft mod made their own edits to the interaction that allows everyone to form confederations. So, even if you just use that mod by itself, you WILL still see it since that's how they setup their mod. So that is normal.
- For the tributary casus belli, the Warcraft mod edits the casus belli so that it isn't possible to use it if either the attacker or defender have the "Surrendered" character modifier. Aside from that, everything else seems to be the same as the base game, so just make sure you and the character you are trying to attack don't have that modifier.
@BOYZANTIUM Thanks for this. Questioned a couple times when doing this if I was going overboard. But figured it'd be useful in the future for any CK3 updates or mod compatches. Glad it helped.
@Wotan99 Currently, there is a game rule that allows the Lombard League to be formed at game start in the 1178 start date. However, there is no further content regarding this aside from allowing it to form at the beginning of the game. Aside from that, a defensive league could potentially be named dynamically after the Duchy of Lombardy, so it'd be called the Lombardy League. Not exactly perfect, but that's with the normal confederation mechanics, nothing special.
@florenciacosimo While the Hanseatic League would be interesting, that will likely need to wait to see what Paradox decides to do regarding trade/merchant republics, because the base game confederation system doesn't accurately represent what the Hanseatic League is, so for now, I haven't added it.
@HinT_John Caesar For now I used the same limit on Crown Authority that existed for Tribal Authority. This was something that I wanted to look into to see what would be best balance-wise. Since I'm not exactly the best dealing with balancing, I wanted to see what other people thought regarding this. Could maybe just make it a game rule later to allow people to choose whatever level they want.
@Jesusonapogostick @Alexander This should be save game compatible since it mainly just modifies base game stuff. I don't have any in-progress save games to really test what it'd be like loading far into a game, so I couldn't do a lot of thorough testing. But the worst issue I got was just a localization issue with the character interaction to invite characters being called "Offer Confederation" when it should have said "Offer Defensive League", but the other localization seemed fine. But if you encounter any other issues, please let me know to see if its something I can fix.
@сидим не рыпаемся While the Hansa might not be as great a fit, given that they are a league formed around trading (hopefully stuff like this can get added once Trade/Republics gets its DLC), I can probably make a game rule that allows you to choose whether to have the Lombard League start in 1178.
@Fred While the Commonwealth would be an interesting thing to try and simulate, I don't think it fits in as well with Confederations/Defensive Leagues given that it formed mainly through a personal union.
