Neat.

There was a glitch that cause no zombies to properly spawn and I spent 10 min wandering around the empty corridors with the bots. Every so often the hoard sound would play signaling the cry of thousands of infected that seemed to lurk in between the walls. Eventually I got board and decided to kill the bots before going back into the padded cell and committing suicide by Molotov. Only when I set myself on fire, as the flames slowly consumed me, the zombies rushed in behind me and proceeded to beat my corpse until it was a mangled mess. I tried to replicate the effect for the following rounds but no matter what I did the result never seemed to work. Whatever happened that first playthrough seemed to be the work of the malevolent AI Director, haunting me me and taunting the survivors forever being trapped in those closed off rooms.


And I cheesed my way to the first Bronze, Silver, Gold, and melee only achievements for survival mode.
