I remember being very scared of this and the Slenderman map.

actually my gmod's audio and pc's audio is really low, my hdr setting on my laptop is not on and can't even be turned on since my laptop does not support hdr, as for my gmod's hdr, it's on the "full (if available)" option on default when i gmod 9 years ago.

hdr isnt bright either, it could just be your monitor's end.

just noclip under the dirt to access the secret room to disable music/ambience, and your garry's mod audio is set way too high.

are some of the parts of the map supposed to be very bright like a flashbang went off, also the soundtrack for the map is slightly loud that you might have to re-adjust the volume of the soundtrack, lastly there should be an option inside of the map to turn off and on the soundtrack of the map like rotty_72's gm_paradise_resort (Pixel Gun 3D Port) map on gmod.
