Tested with Sealing the Strait mission. All the way to 90.2nm, British FCR can guide against low-flying aircraft at ~100-200ft, while SM-2ER cannot do this in vanilla game nor NTU as its FCRs are subject to horizon limitation.
The missile itself will even fly at very low altitude for extensive period of time after launch beyond the horizon and will still be linked to its launching ship.
