If you can provide more details or show what the mod returns in the console (press the button below ESC) `
Every day when I save the game, change seasons, and load the world, it returns a debug message in the console.
Check if the length returned in the debug message matches the game.
it says it's day 7 but the seasons clock says it's the first day of autumn and there's 19 days left
For instance, there could be several days of deep darkness in the winter, snowstorms that slow players down or both. Also, days without its nights for summer or really scorching-hot days where you have to get creative to shake off the unusual heat or die. Or... what about non-stop downpours in the spring or electric-heavy storms?
I'm talking about disruptive, self-contained events that take players out of their comfort zones.
Do you make sure the lengths are consistent between world reloads? That's a big issue I had with other mods trying to do the same thing, and the reason I created my version.
These ideas seem good to incorporate, maybe I'll make a separate mod for randomizing the length of the day.
Mild, Hurricane, Monsson and Dry seasons.
Also, would be cool if this mod was incorporated with something like the very old (and disappeared) mods: Longer Days (and Nights) and Morning.
* Longer days make every day slower, and also setting for perishable items to rot/burn/wear down slower.
* Morning added another part to the day cycle, similar to evening but with some changes I now have forgotten.
And by this theme option to make each day have different random length.
