Here's a revolutionary idea that'd prevent the pissing matches in the future: How about you use a descriptive name for the taunt and not some super quirky slogan. Would make finding dupes that much easier - but noooo, we have bait people with sound bites instead of quality.

Why does the "skin to skin" slaps have a sound to them? You ever do that in real life? Dosn't make a sound cause you ain't trying to hurt yourself.

Hey! Next taunt you should make is for a sniper where he hides in the bush! There is one in the workshop, but that idea is common and seen in a lot of cartoons and movies! What stops you? Removing comments that point out it's not fair to copy and post other people's taunts... Are you removing them to make it squeaky clean for VALVE? You know they can see them, right? It's unfair and low what you did. If what you said was true and ok to make similar taunts, you would see 1:1 copies of other taunts in the workshop, but you don't, and you know why? Because other animators who make taunts regularly wont go that low from what I see.

@Lombax After wading through your submissions I've found your version and I can confidently say that they are sufficiently different in distinguishing actions. That is: actions following the facepalm. Yes, both share the same premise of a facepalm - a meme as old as the game itself. I'd say both share the same problem of being overly animated but this one here IMHO evokes the impression of disappointment better than yours.
You are free to update your version to bring it back to the front of the queue.

To be completely honest; I'd spam this ♥♥♥♥ if it added, its really good.

It came to my atention what is going on here lads, and I'm not happy about it. I understand making common objects or hats as cosmetics or miscs unless they are copy of an existing item. Taunts are different! You put way time to make them look good. That's why you don't see copies of the same taunts. Tombstone taunts are for different classes and with different intentions, like M+M1 said before. There is room for similar taunts, like boxtrot etc., but each one is for a different class and I accept that. No one made similar taunt like gun-cleaning for heavy or engine banjo taunt when they were uploaded. It's heart-breaking because we worked hard for months to make our one, and we stand no chance now because yours is newer than ours. We didn't update it because we thought it was perfect. I'm always open to colabs, and it would be nice if you gaved us a hint you want maybe a co-op if you wanted to make one. It's unfair to others and I condemn those practices, especially in terms of taunts

Good stuff compared to lot of the other taunts on the workshop. It's quick, no objects coming out of nowhere to forcefully get it across, no exaggerated cartoon animations and it just works.
