Thanks for the commens, i've been thinking of trying to make an unmodded/survival friendly version for Keens upcoming "exploration feature" - anyone have any ideas?

Reminds me of the Cryslonite Imperium featured in the Space Empires games.
I`ve been phantasising about something similiar in the past days.

Also you make me remember some of my late (2009-2010) designs for D&D Gith Psi-Crystal Void-Ships originated in a time before the race(-s) got subjugated by the Mind Flayers.

A great piece. Keep on with this style.
