Hi guys. I would like to ask the permission to use some of your assets for a mod project: Indian Navy's INS Viraat (Ex HMS Hermes), My idea is to do (among other things) some reskin of the flight deck of rn_cv_centaur (the flight deck markings of INS Viraat were a little different than Hermes' ones), some kitbashing (notably replacing the Sea Cat launchers by AK230 CIWS, replacing the radars, etc.) and changing the airgroup, using my Sea King Mk42 and Sea Harrier FRS.51 mods. This mod would be depended of yours and I would, of course, give you credit.

I know this isn’t your fault and it’s due to the new flight mechanics but is their anyway to allow us to select more than 1 aircraft to be prepared or to add more crew to do it? Since it allows to you to all of them but you can’t select more than 1 for an amount less than all of them.

I've found that to prevent the belly and slipper tanks on the buccaneer from dropping when attacking you can change "Type=Fueltank" to "Type=Container" . They still work as fuel tanks but just don't show up in weapons list on the aircraft itself.

This might be a minor issue but it seems like the mod messed up with several default flag files. Some units have their flag being replaced with "missing" text box.

Thanks for this awesome mod, that I can now fully enjoy at last (no need for Anchor Chain/Sea Lifter anymore, although they well paved the way). Just noticed a small glitch: When taking-off from HMS Hermes (VTOL Carrier version) the Harriers just go right through the ski-jump.

For anyone frustrated by the Carrier not having deck functionality you can enable it yourself, here is how.

-Navigate to: ProgramFiles\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1286220\3491248180\vessels. If your game is on another hard drive it will be in the SteamLibrary folder on the drive instead of the ProgramFiles\Steam folder.
-Find: rn_cv_invincible.ini, rn_cv_invincible_deckparks.ini, rn_cv_invincible_refit.ini, rn_cv_invincible_refit_deckparks.ini and open them.
-Replace the following line

"LaunchDelay=10"

with

"LaunchDelay=5
GroundCrewCount=12
DeckParkSlots=40"

This copied straigh from the base game files after the update and is from the USS Kitty Hawk. Not accurate to the invincible but it's a good approximation, it'll work until the update for the mod.

You'll indeed have to add the GroundCrewCount as well as the FlightDeck_AmmoCapacity to the aircraft capable vessels.

Works fantastic without AC or SeaLifter, however the recent changes to how flight-decks operate means that only one aircraft can ever be launched at a time, looks like this might need an update to account for the changes.

I am in the process of updating my BOTA missions. RN mod is working well without Anchor Chain Sealifter, except for the Illustrious-class carriers. The flight deck drop down to select multiple aircraft was limited to one only, and flights loaded and ready could not be triggered to take off. You were probably already aware, but just FYI in case. I continue to love your mod team!!!

I suspect the next patch is shortly inbound. Also, for the record, you can modify their file on your own if you choose to not want to wait. Just turn the .ini file to notepad and modify.

Hey there, great mod, but the Brittish carriers have a little problem since the last update. There is not enough deck crew to prep and or launch more than one aircraft at a time.

Also, this mod has a nations.ini file despite UK already being in the vanilla game. With the most recent update, there have been new nations added as part of the expansion of F-5 liveries. This causes incompatibilities with other mods adding nations because you currently need to include all vanilla nations plus nations added by a given mod.

While acquiring damaged+quiet target, Sting Ray may have trouble detecting a given submerged target meeting said conditions. F10 menu says it is in passive seeker mode by default. Test target was Victor 3. One of them even passed <0.2nmi of the damaged Victor 3. Noticed while playing Clearing the Clyde.

@kitkat, 2 things.

1. Did you load/enable Anchor Chain and Sealifter correctly? They are a requirement.

2. Did you disable all other mods? All mods do not always work with other mods.

Unsub from all mods on steam, than sub to only the mods that are needed. If you still have a issue join the BuOrd Discord server and share your session Log after you have the crash event. Majority of issues though is just having to many mods turned on, having to many mods subscribed to, and incorrectly installed Sealifter+Anchorchain. That is honestly 90% of the issues we find and have to help people with fixing.

I only have a CTD with your mod when laucnhing encyclopedia or trying to load one of your ship. So sad as it looks great and is required for BOTA. :-/
