The crash has been fixed, I would recommend you to reinstall the shipmoddingframework and the expanse expanse ships mod to make sure they are updated. Thanks for reporting the bug

glad you got it working, could you show me the player log ? that way i know why the game carshed?
However, the UNN ships are another story...
I built Leonidas, everything worked fine until I started a battle, and then it crashed...
It's a new game, so your patch was already installed normally.

I fixed a bug where the game would crash if you selected an escort ship. This fix makes it so that if you build an UNEscort ship or designed it in your save, it won't be compatible with this newest version. I apologise for the oversight.
if you did that correctly UMM should show a green icon next to the expanse ships mod and you should now be able to view ships.
sorry for the late response but it seems you havent downloaded the ship modding framework. Just subscribe to it in steam and install through terra invicta( like how you did with this mod ). Then just enable the mod and restart the game.
what do you mean by conceptor, do you mean the Ship designer ?
Also do you have unity mod manager installed ? if not that could be causing the issue. If you do have it please share the player log located in " AppData\LocalLow\Pavonis Interactive\TerraInvicta" just scroll down till you see the crash error and put it here

Added 4 brand new hulls from the UNN . I also added a new project research for getting the UNN ships.
I have also tweaked the names of the custom ships to have it so that they show what faction they are from, so if it was a Tachi it would be MCRN Tachi.
I will be shortly uploading an outdated version of the mod as this new one is not cross save compatible from the previous mod version.
Progress on the Leonidas. It is mostly finished, the UN update should launch soon-ish as I only have to do some touch ups with projects or other quick fixes.
The only potential problem with this update is that it wont be compatible with previous saves using this mod as the Donnager has a different hull layout now. However I should be able to upload a separate mod from before this update that way people can continue their playthourgh

Thanks, The plan for the OPA is to have a free navy faction and then a separate OPA faction. For the free navy I will probably add the pella and the serio mal with some other belter ships while the OPA has ships like the ashfords ship and drummers.
I might end up adding the behemoth as well but I am not 100% sure
Im so excited to see what you come up with, with the OPA. Their stuff is nothing but a bunch of Frankenships glued together.
Now we just need mods from other franchises!
Image showcasing what I have been working on. I managed to implement a new ship based of the unused UN escort concept art.
I also got a model for the un patrol boat which is meant to be their morigan equivalent. It still is a WIP as I have to do the texturing and I might make some other model changes. After those are done the only thing left to do is the leonidas ( and meaby the armun-ra stealth ship ) and then the UN update should be done
due to my framework the hardest part of adding a ship mod is making the models(adding the ship through code is one line, unless you are adding custom weapon locations ). However there is a decent amount of set up your got to do in unity.
I did put a guide to how to make custom ships on the github repo for the ship framework.
And might I add, some sexy new ones with sweet curves.

This is what the internals look like. It might be a bit much so it is subject to change but the idea is that it will be used more for nose weapons while having to rely on other ships for point defence
sorry for the late response, I was in holiday for a bit so I didn't had access to my PC,
at the moment the focus is on getting UNN and OPA faction ships in before getting any other MCRN ships. I might add ships like the D class in the future.
As for the UNN ships the current plan is to have 4 the same amount as the MCRN, I do plan on adding the stealth ship.
I am also thinking of adding free navy ships like the pella and the serio mal as well.
Also what are the odds of seeing the stealth ships from season one and the free navies stolen ones?

The vanilla ships are still available, this are just new ships that you can use. This is compatible with the weapons mod and I have tested it with it though I am unsure if this is compatible with the drive mod.

That is actually a pretty good idea, Specially since lore wise the donny was build to carry 4 railguns when reactors were powerful enough to run them. I will probably implement the change that you suggest. I also have reduced the amount of tons per armor of the donny

Thanks for the feedback, I understand that it is dissapointing, the main reason why I did it is because before I could not make the ships have more weapons that the vanilla ships I used in the script, however I have found out how to overcome that limitation recently so if it all goes well I will be adding more hull weapons to the donny on the next update.
Depending on how it goes, it might make it so that the current ship designs with the Donnager get messed up though I will try to make it so that does not happen.
thanks for the feedback, I imagine this is due to the volume ( i tried to keep it somewhat accurate to the expanse ) however I understand that for the donnager it is way too big, I try to re-balance for the next update.
Mass per armour point of all the other ships are more reasonable, but still looks a bit too high compared with vanilla ships in the same ship class.
