Why did you change his Beret Flash from 1st SFG to 5th SFG? Those are completely different organizations. I think I've seen concept art of him with a 5th SFG Beret Flashing, is that why you changed it? :zedrawr:

i can say that the vest is fine, its just the pockets/zipper that blends in with the color like compared to mods like E3 redux by cuba and E3 francis by theareudead. but its your mod you can do whatever

@Owns I've taken care of the underside of the goatee. Could you tell me more about his vest? Apart from the misaligned phongmasks, some inconsistency, and lack of depth for the zippers, I'm not aware of any other issues. I've mostly been focused on his tattoos and the little details I gave everyone else.

you could really pull something like this on francis since his retail model is so off (looking close at the goatee and underneath it) and the details on his vest which goes barely unnotice

Also the lightwarp makes sense imo, full-lambertian just looks ugly under certain lighting (iirc that's why Valve used lightwarps for the TF2 mercs too beyond just having colored shading)

@Despair I agree to a degree. The lightwarp was a comprise between the desire to have full-lambertain lighting and wanting the characters to look somewhat decent under harsh lights.

Compare the L4D2 characters directly under the first light of No Mercy and you'll see why I chose this method.

@Uzi if I can come up with anything. I remember having made reskins for the Tanks awhile ago, so I might revisit that. Though I make no promises, I'm not publishing anything unless it can meet or exceed the game's quality.
