I was thinking just make it do the holding animation. Just the hand and torch! If you can't then can you at least do the super gravity gun? The physgun actually just uses the super gravity gun model anyway! Just without the particles.

unfortunately the physgun has not that many frames to work with and the animation is like less than half a second long

why not just make the animations replacement but as a separate addon using xdr or dynabase as a base? those addons dont break other animations from what i know.

because it would, it would make the arms weird when holding the physgun, revolver etc. I've tried replacing animations before, download my funny anim replacement and go see yourself, in gmod there is only one file to change the default animations its called f_anim (for female) m_anim (for male) and I changed the base .smd file for the corresponding animation and no matter what it still messes up other animations for some reason.

No not at all but that’s one of the things I wanted to try learning, I wanted to try better learn FPS animations and how to make a swep I haven’t gotten around to learning lua or anything
