Apparently it is possible to make one in the forge with 1 coal and 1 steel = water can, so it should be safe to remove them, although i dont mind schroedingers water cans either xD

Okay, maybe we can agree on, that those are Schroedingers watering cans. They can be both - being made of metal and plastic. But you'll have to decide which ;)

Havn't played in a while - is melting watering cans vanilla? Maybe I should remove them from the recipes then. But removing would only make sense, when you can make new ones from metal.

yeah, same issue here, i scrap plastic bottles and the scrap doesnt even appear in the crafter inventory (must "melt" instantly as said in @MithranArkanere comment).

Hope the modder fix this, cause the mod idea is great!

I think I found the problem.
Plastic Scraps have been given the "can melt" flag.
That's a property for snowballs, so they disappear when the temperature rises.

hello, after i download your mod i started new game and everythink seem worked fine but after i collect some and store them in my storage boxes next day they just dissappeared and i couldnt find anymore scraps on houses/bins they just dont appear again, i can see the recipes on the crafting stations but cant find any scraps.
