Sorry, I can't see where to turn the diagonals off - there's a checkbox to turn make the bounding box rectangular, circular or off, and one to bind proportional scaling, but nothing for diagonal. As for painting, I didn't think of that at all, will have to try.

You can use artsy sparks to paint them to be able to differentiate them. Diagonals are also a checkbox optional. You can delete the balloon just enter delete mode on the square it was placed.

Avoid leaving balloons around the map. Because they cover a very large area they cannot be hidden while the player is away, so if you plop too many of them it will impact performance since they can never be unloaded (otherwise they would disappear if you walked too far). If you want a placeholder position better to replace them with a sign when not actively using them.

It'd be great to be able to have a way to turn the display off/on; I want to keep the location and x/y (can't delete the balloon!) but sometimes the lines gets confused with other balloons. Also, being able to specify display of x lines, y lines, and diagonal lines. (Changing line display color would also be useful) But a great mod, very helpful at organizing at large scales!

After Mod is downloaded and enabled, restart the game. Go the to Craftsman and purchase the balloon as a Decoration Item. It will then be under Defense Buildings.
