This is very nice for performance. Honestly the smoke is one of the only CE mechanics that I wish was a standalone mod so I could use it without the incompatibilities of full CE.

@Ranger Dimitri if you don't care about the display consistency and performance, nothing really. as for functionally, it does replicate everything regular ce smoke does do you're not missing out on anything

So, is there any real benefit to using this over what CE normally uses for it's smoke system besides performance? And what kind of functional difference does it have besides what you gave as an example?
