Also experienced the weird color/view direction issue, seems to consistently happen when loading a mod after the game has already loaded a level.

Starting a mod fresh from the very first menu is fine but if you try to load a different mod (including the main game) it triggers the bug.

Completely restarting the game fixed this, most obvious solution compared to spending ages looking for a fullbright command

Is the color of the lighting supposed to change depending on view direction?
