10/10 for chaos, at some point the tears get so insane that I stop being able to or needing to aim and I just hope they hit something. It's hilarious. I learned how to aim with Ouro worm.

I think, to make the character less frustrating (because the activable can ruin runs)
The activable should have the same effects, but the effects of the swallowing trinkets only last for the current floor.
And to balance the damage, either keep the same effects, but permanent (even when you don't have trinket worms anymore), or increase the damage according to the number of swallowed trinket worms (so if you change floor, you lose the swallowed trinket worms as well as the damage).
