Characters cards are dealt at random, you will have to swap them around based on the scenario.

The scripting will still sometimes deal out the "Confront the Balrog" quest without dealing out Gandalf. The other character-dependent quests seem fixed, but Gandalf's quest will still appear without Gandalf sometimes.

Hello! The reference cards are incorrect. There should be 2 different cards, and you've merged the front of both of them and the back of both of them are missing entirely.

The little character meeples look pretty weird, are they low-res images that you tried to upscale with waifu2x or something? I would replace them with the models from here.

There are 2 bugs:
1) When setting up scenarios, characters are not dealt according to objectives.
2) When using the + and - buttons on tokens, you can get more tokens than allowed in the rules (9).

Is there a way to turn off the auto-deck shuffling? I accidentally went back in time and it ruined the game. I can't even load a save as the decks instantly shuffle

Great mod! The only problem I've had with it is using the scenario setups. Many of the objectives require a specific character to be in play and the mod makes a total mess of that. Sometimes it deals out extra characters right under another and sometimes it doesn't even choose a needed character at all.

Be aware that if you're splitting a game over multiple sessions, the Shadow and Event decks will automatically shuffle when you load your save, which effectively ruins the game e.g. it upsets the pacing of when Skies Darken cards are revealed. You can work around this by opening the script editor and deleting the scripts for the Shadow/Event decks before you save.

Great mod though! All the components look fantastic and the scripting/UI is really polished. Thank you for making this.

Great mod -- the only issue I have is the dice symbols above the dice tray will not totally match the results of the roll. I wonder if a delay needs to be implemented in the script, so the dice are read correctly.

I think the "Your First Game" scenario is partially broken.
It doesn't do the shadow troops setup, it doesn't stack the player deck after assembling the piles and it doesn't seem to use the three quests outlined in the rulebook (it seemingly uses random ones).
Otheriwse the mod looks great.

We play yesterday and everything was fine from start, then we have disconnected and after loading everything went south on script: each card just spawn additional shadow troop to each location listed, graphic artifacts on table and dice showing different symbols that top icons.
I really enjoy this game and your module but we all need some of your magic to fix this.

The issue you're describing shouldn't happen unless you're loading from a saved game, since the script runs again when loading. I need to look into it.

You can temporarily fix this by simply deleting the scripted zone: press F3 > Scripting > Delete the zone.

Since this mod currently isn't being updated, there is another FotF mod out there. It is not scripted, however.

Every time shadow card is moved over the discard pile it spawns a troop. Including when reshufling and even in cases where it is not supposed to spawn. Would be better to just remove this part of the scripting.

It seems like reshuffling the Shadow cards adds troops to the board? Probably because the cards are passing through a zone that has that trigger?

Hi! Found an issue with harder difficulties. With six The Skies Darken you're supposed to split the draw deck into 6 piles and shuffle one into each. Currently it just shuffles two into the top pile? That makes things very difficult. =-)

Objective setup is done, the corresponding characters and troops should now be drawn and placed automatically.

So beware if you're playing 1-2 player and need to swap an objective, make sure to remove characters or troops that have already been placed.

I noticed when resolving the enemy deck and putting a card over to discard it would on occasion randomly add a troop automatically. Otherwise this has been fantastic! Good work and thank you!

I was watching how to play video by Watch It Played and noticed that there are two player reference cards which are double sided. Actions 1/2 has rolling a search on the back and actions 2/2 has rolling a battle on the back.

The mod currently has one card with actions 1/2 front on the front and actions 2/2 front on the back.

When you load a save it will still automatically shuffle the shadow deck. Any way to stop this?

Played the game today. A few suggestions. I think you should remove the counters from the resource tokens. They are limited by the components, which is hard to keep track of if you are incrementing counters. It also makes them hard to pick up.

Similarly, you might want to remove stacking on the shadow units and maybe the friendly units too. Because shadow units can be dropped in the bag stacked, you can lose count of how many are in there if you aren't careful. And then when pulling one out to add, you might pull out a stack accidentally without noticing.

Again, great mod! Everything else worked wonderfully.

I supplied the text for Yurembo's images. 19 of the objectives were visible in one or more Youtube videos, but since a quality screenshot could not be taken from the video, we manually typed up the text. Some of the text in videos was very blurry, but I believe it is all correct One of the objectives (Arwen Unfurls the Banner) has been seen in Ukrainian language only. Comparing the picture to the text as translated by AI, I think the text is correct, but it's not fully confirmed and of course the real English version might have some differences in wording.

While I do not expect the remaining objectives ever come to BGA, I'm sure someone will eventually be able to scan a physical copy or at least provide the text.

I have been working on a table for this as well but I did not share in the workshop yet. It has some nice features (scripted to draw the shadow cards and highlight the paths/locations on the board for each one drawn) but no scripted setup. Perhaps we could combine efforts.

As communicated by the official website before launch, the BGA version will be exclusively limited to 10 characters and 4 objectives. Therefore, it's not expected that the remaining content will be added.

Indeed, Objective Cards don't have scripted setups yet, I will do it when I get the 4 missing cards
