Looking at the modded wiki's region map for this mod, I notice some regions (No grand ideas, Dark Water, and furnace gorge). Are these other modded regions or are they specific to cliffside (as in these regions will either be in the cliffside mod or your second part to this mod)?

@Parageist - you can try adding PERF_HEAVY tag to larger rooms, this will encourage game to abstract physics calculations sooner than normal (normally game fully calculates current room as well as all adjacent rooms. Rooms tagged with PERF_HEAVY will be abstracted even when being adjacent to current room). Also make sure all rooms have properly baked in pathfinder data, if those are malformed or missing, game will immensely lag when creatures enter those rooms or when you open the map overlay with dev tools.

Here's what helped me to get rid of lag spikes in Moss Fields:
First, go to the region you want to check. Once you're there, activate debug mode ( "O", Dev Tools need to be loaded ), open debug interface ( "H" ) and click on "MAP" tab. Wait about a minute until game traces all rooms and creatures. If it runs smoothly afterwards, everything is fine. But if you get massive lag spikes, it is likely AI pathfinder has trouble with one or more room.

To fix it, go to Remix menu, open configuration menu for RegionKit, go to "Bakery" tab, tick the letter code for your region (Cliffside is "LI") and hit Bake. This will embed pathfinder data to rooms that are missing it. Then check for lag again. If it still persists, repeat the baking process, but additionally tick on "Rebake All Rooms" as well, to force the game to recalculate pathfinder data for ALL rooms, so it catches any malformed pathfinder data as well. This will take a LONG while.

Love this mod, but I went into a shelter named S18 on the warp menu, and it was full of scavengers, two vultures, and a miros vulture? I mean, free food, but I was so confused.

i went to moon after visiting cliffside, and after moon told me about my drone shes not doing anything with spearmasters broadcast pearl so i cant get to the ending :/

also about the lag in train4 i fixed it by just pausing my game and then entering a new room. entering a new room or pausing after entering a new room wont fix it, you gotta pause then move rooms

My game keeps freezing after I enter the gate from moss fields to cliffside. Not sure how to fix it, but I'm very excited to explore this region once I can!

i really like the little detail of moon having dialogue for the drone you find just before you enter the gate to cliffside from moss fields :rwmoon:

Ok, the CRS loading problem seems to have abated, but there are massive lag spikes in huge rooms especially in the subregion area...

Hello, this region looks great. I recently found not long ago that some room connections in this region appear to be broken, as one of the larger rooms causes an exceptionLog wherein a message will read something about CRS missing connections... Not sure what to do about this but it is a thing.

I'm not sure if this is some kind of weird bug, or my computer, but after entering the certain big room, (labelled TRAIN4 on the warp menu), everything starts lagging down to basically 1fps, no matter how far from that room i get. The lag would only stop after exiting and doesn't persist in the pause menu either. My computer otherwise runs rainworld very smoothly, so i'm not sure if it's something failing to load in or what, it's an extremely cool region from what i was able to see so far, but I don't see why or how it would be super performance heavy. i even tried disabling every other mod besides dependencies, still didnt work.

Hello! While using Extended Collectibles Tracker to search for pearls, I noticed that there are two pearls in rooms LI_DUMP2 and LI_DUMP5 respectively. However, their contents appear to be identical. I'm wondering if this is just a bug. If so, could you clarify which one is the "correct"?

idk if this is already well known but it breaks with jolly co op, or at least unshackled co op. it loads the room and just stays on it, effectively crashing

@SageisNice besides moss fields, no currently released regions connect to cliffside, but i am making some that do, and have plans to connect it to other peoples' regions as well

The region looks sick so far but some of the screen transitions are a little disorientating, as sometimes i cant see my scug when the screen changes. Very exited for the planned regions tho! also love the broadcasts i have found so far.
