you might be able to, hopefully we'll figure out a solution to the tab in a future if it's not hardcoded against custom assets.

Is there a way to make tab working with this hud?, i mostly play on locals servers and i'd like to know my random teammates status/hp, maybe i could modify some lines so it can get to work again, but i don't know, is it possible?

I was going to include that too but also have it so you'd get the adrenaline tunnel vision and also have it be a little blurry to offset the teammate information. l4d2 loves to hard coding the cool stuff

that's a shame, that idea sounds really cool. tbh i was mainly just talking how the default hud looks like with the teammate panels to the left, there's none of these cool nightmare huds that just show teammate info on the left, i know it's out of line with the pack but i meant as an alt

If there was a way to make it look passable we'd 100% would tried to make it happen.
I wanted there be a pop up similar to gmod with the other players name and health percentage (just to keep things inline with the modpack) when you looked at them but it was hard coded
