I see, This might be compatible with Caravans of the Old World – Reworked & Enhanced Edition. Was testing it out because this mod added new routes for cathay, but not much else it seems. Only down side is, I didn't really want caravans for the Empire.

You need to contact the author of the Old World Caravan, @TWilliam
As far as I know, only he can create the relevant routes. My skills are not sufficient to meet your requirements.

Looking at using this mod the next time I play cathay, but I will be honest that I was just looking for a mod that added a few new caravan routes for cathay down to the south such as Black Pyramid, Chevaliers ,and maybe drakenhofs province. Would it possible to add those? Doesn't need any special events or units.

Unless a completely identical unit is created without occupying any space, but such a unit cannot become stronger through the unit upgrade mod :(

I also noticed that convoy leaders with the trait "Sharpshooter" starts with 2 Deathshrieker rocketlaunchers too. These don't use the warmachine unit cap, thankfully, so the warmachine unit cap usage bug seems to be limited to the event that gives the convoy more of them.

I suspect an event that adds Chaos Dwarf Warriors to your caravan would have a similiar effect of taking up unit cap if chosen, although I haven't encountered it.

Because the initial troops given for this event were
goblin Shield Infantry, goblin Archers and goblin Catapults,
I changed them to Chaos Dwarf Warriors, Giant Minotaurs and Rocket Launchers.
But perhaps these troops are by default occupying your army capacity...

Yours is the only mod I use that affect caravans & the event does not appear on the Warhammer fandom wiki list of dilemmas for caravans, so we can assume the event isn't in the base game either.

Because the probability of your event triggering is not 100%, I don't know either.
You can try to only enable my mod for a test. If it still takes up space, then it must be my mod.

There is an event for chaos dwarf convoys to choose between getting 2 Deathshrieker rocketlaunchers, or army replentisment added to your caravan. I chose the former & discovered that the 2 new units in the caravan counts toward the warmachine unit cap. Caravan units should not use the unit cap.

I suspect this event was added by your mod?

Not sure if its another mod causing the problem, but it seems like when a convoy completes for the Chaos Dwarfs, that if they have the boon from the tower that gives an artifact every 3 turns, they won't get an artifact from the caravan. Maybe its just me.

You're just unlucky. This is the highest difficulty level among the 23 enemy configurations. That means there's a 1% chance of encountering it.

The highly challenging legendary dragons are not something you can tackle by using special mods. If you merely use the official version's troop composition, after 100 rounds, your technological advancements will still enable your army to defeat them (provided that you need to deploy 5 troops to draw the enemy's hatred and then send them to attack the 5 dragons separately). Then, with the combined firepower of all 15 teams, you can focus on dealing with just one dragon.

5/10, the non fighty encounters are fun, but the encounter enemies are over tuned to the point of unbeatable with a maxed out convoy. 6 dragons in every elf encounter is not beatable with the mess of an army convoys and caravans usually are.

What are the rewards given by the authorities to each caravan for its first arrival at the destination?

If so, it might be on the part of the caravan governor; if not, then I have no idea (this mod does not add or modify the reward items).

(你也可以仅跑商1次也行,只要他这个商队活着就会给你加1个英雄容量…如果强度不够的话…下次改成所有部队容量额外+1)

Another idea for cathay mechanic mod, for zhao Ming could be spawning waves of skaven that storm the warpston desert for obvious reasons. And after winning against, zhao could unlock special alchemy building to boost units stats but lowering leadership, something like that

Is it possible for this mod to also increase the actual cargo value of the AI for the sake of raiding caravans? I miss being able to attack/kill caravans and get a decent amount of loot from them. Otherwise, great mod!

Gotcha. Up to you to make them compatible. I think having caravans for more factions makes it a lot more fun. You can reuse the same mechanics for a fair few of them, if you want.
