great effort. looks great.

but its actual sight picture is utter shit.

so this is not good.

Why is the DOF so low? Real ESDRs don't have such a small sight picture. It's almost unuseable ingame.

nice model one litle cuestion or doubt you can ajust the brightness or luminosity of the sgiht is litle bit shiny i mean the reflection is shiny you can ajust less but the model is awesome

I think the only drawback this scope has is that it makes it difficult to aim with grenade launchers.

@the fairly accurate Trixie you can drag the vpk file onto the vpk.exe inside your Insurgency2\bin folder. This is easy. As for source games' modeling, there supposed to be many tutorials, I have one but it's completely written in Chinese :\

Alright. The main issue is I don't know how to mod source games. I just model. I've made a few TF2 models already, though I haven't textured them yet. Thanks though, I'll look into the VPK unpacking thing.

@the fairly accurate Trixie The original scope is PO-4, and the dev just roughly modeled it.
As for how to make it.. it's a long process. You need to unpack the vpk file first, and what remains to do is almost the same as replacing a Counter Strike: Source model

I also realized once I saw your PSO-1 mod that the game's base russian 4x was something else. I'd assumed it was already a PSO-1. My bad there.

Yeah, I actually saw that right after. It's really awesome. The only problem I have with the russian 4x scopes in game is that the rubber eyepiece basically blinds you, so I have trouble using it. I was also wondering how you get models and reticle mods to work with the game, as I was thinking about doing a PKS-07 scope model and reticle mod for the 7x, myself. Love your stuff so far!
