Gave it three tries, can confidently say Ai is still busted wont do income thus wont do anything stronger than a speeder bike or a fighter in a fight. And crashes pretty random even throwing a lot of fixes around

This is my favorite clone wars mod i would love to see a bigger galaxy to fight in nd other mods with this version like infinite space and ground cap/ pop cap so i could do my own full scale clone wars

Would you consider either adding CG/ORG as a default defense unit that comes from the barracks? Also shifting the planets or changing the start. Ryloth should be under republic control, and a couple of LAATs wouldnt hurt as a starting troop.

GC keeps crashing. Unplayable as it is, no large battles or lag spikes, just suddenly closes

@isa0005 This is a Submod so you need to treat it as such which means you also need to also have this "STEAMMOD=1126673817" after that with a space between this launcher and the mod your using as a base which should be 4.0

in short should be this everything in quotes, quote themselve not included "MODPATH=../../../workshop/content/32470/3478887300 STEAMMOD=1126673817"

Hello, I'm having trouble getting this to launch. I've put "Modpath=..\..\..\workshop\content\32470\3478887300" into the launch options (without the quotation marks btw). It gets to the splash screen, hangs there for a second and then CTDs. I have re-subbed to the mod and to original Clone Wars mod but still can't get past this CTD. Any ideas?

I wanted to include buying planets but its not ready yet... so my goal is to get it done this week. Why isn't it ready yet? I'm thinking that corruption is bad choice... since you cant really corrupt... friendly ally planets as for releasing some code to buy planets using corruption I'm thinking this week as well where anyone can use it as long as ask since its a nice template if you don't want to recreate it from scratch. I've also had an idea about bases and stuff and that I might add it or not for skirmish where you have a command post or a town center thus you don't need the ai capture a every single building build pad and instead you only need 1 and then you build it in your build bar which then builds it.

Look at Change Log for what was updated as for specifics didn't list it but every planet should be affected for the base layout and the planets for choke point and priority got an update list. The Vehicle At-te isn't included but might be the next one or the one after cause its not liking me right now. I decided against added the Jedi Random choice lua coding since I couldn't find it and I didn't want to destroy the balance of it since it uses the find function which is use debug would make harder to find errors since more stuff in it. The variant for clone names hasn't been included yet as I want to add it when I make it so that you can buy more units at once. Only the stuff mentioned has been touched.

If the flags thing is a good idea, I once did it in a submod of the AOTR mod that I once worked on, I no longer have the codes because I deleted them all, but I think I remember how I did it so if you want I can help you with that.

I don't know either but they are working on a polished version and once that update is done its done. In the meantime I'm working on trying to add stuff that I don't believe they will add or havn't worked on yet what they will upgrade that might as well just do some stuff now So that its cleaner. Anyways haven't been on steam since University started so just saw this. It still needs updating and it doesn't change much yet but once stuff is added that I'm working on should be more fun. Also I'll be releasing some code that I plan to use if people want to use it in their mod they can its just story scripting to buy some planets (Although might change how planets are bought... currently thinking corruption but honestly I want to use flags and then based on that flag you get so and so and the price for a unit would change based on the base count or number that its equal to.In the meantime use corruption version for buying it unless suddenly have personal breakthrough on what might work..)

I Want to do it by this Sunday if possible that's the timeline it should also be added to the game on its own. The Factory Ship and the units being build more in batches at same time has taken the and been on the Back-burner for a bit since been focused on learning Lua code...The only Planets which could be bought I'm thinking are only the ones which are Corporate Sector Authority at least for now as a test though some wont make sense but then again... like Tyber Zaan says in the "Everyone has a price..." so like... I'm torn like that one planet where we got Jar Jar being mistaken for a Jedi in that one episode... They were loyal but they got bought and the price was their peoples Loyalty for food since they had no food and were starving.

Once I updated this mod, although on a personal level, it is a good mod because of the control of individual units that it has, which is not enjoyed by many people. With a facelift it would look better, although in the moddb publication it seems that I once saw that the creator wanted to revive the mod, but I don't know what that would be like.

Pt 1 This is how it is progressing. I have not forgotten about this project. I'm down to help other people mod if they have something they need help with if i can help with it. I am always looking for help since more people equals faster work. Plus i don't understanding everything. I love this original and I am going to continue towards helping it get even more fun. P2 Short version or long version? Short is basically ok ish. doing lots of testing. Long? Debating adding framework from some sights and wondering if the agreements are what i should use since it changes everything, if chewbacca idea of units making the enter vehicles and replacing model same for adding in turrets hence making all vehicles start out as neutral or inactive hostile but need a unit to get them /steal them,don't know for category for bacta, garrisoned bunkers that can move can only fire so much before don't work questioning existence of why when it should have got fixed with a steam update but don't know if that's me hallucinating, thinking and trying and debating if need to add a upkeap system for units such as food or carbon, looking at lua commands and trying to understand activating a script, trying to maintain that balance of life, fun, work, ect.

Pt 3 of post ... the ship filter is still the same as it is not yet touched since divert focus from that, trying to learn to add hardpoint's to units, jedi progression idea hasn't worked on, understanding garrisoning units, understanding shields, reading lots and lots of past conversations in some discords about modding, made the laat_C better and more cleaner on figuring out some problems, redoing video over and over till its right and good, idea for making the tech 1 no progression campaign that was in the original able to fix the space stations problem of that if you destroy space station you cant get more regular ships hence the need for that to be fixed wondering if it should be done, combining a a bunker model and vehicle model and making the rigging work which it does though same problem with the run out of shots stuff with the moveable bunker... actually should bunkers be able to move? Idk but i made a version that can move... that's just some stuff.

I don't know I have been focusing on gameplay mechanics instead of looks. My expertise lay in ideas and trying to make that work for example testing out and making it feel real that if you put an infantry unit inside of a tank, it unlocks that turrets ability to fire. Or one that I have recently mostly completed is a portable bacta tank which cant move but can be garrisoned by other units and then ungarrison it though I might need to find a way to make a new garrison catagory and use that instead of the one I am using currently... I'm sort of new to blender and just switched to 3.3 instead of 2.8 since 2.8 dousn't like me anymore.

I know I was working on a map but it was taking a little too long cause had to keep re calibrated for every positional change if I don't like its position. Though I for sure want to complete it and have hyperspace be the only way you can travel to planets. I do want to change the mining problem though. I'm trying to figure out how to make the ui and the zoomed in better. But that is stuff gonna try to as you say "shape and modernize it a bit".

This mod used to be so good back in the day.
I hope you can get it back in shape and modernize it a bit.
I just cant stand the way too zoomed in GC map and UI.
The GC map is just straight up bad, maybe you could port a better one over.
Every planet is a mining planet, you can build everything everywhere what takes away any strategic and/or logistic decision making.
I think I have been spoiled by mods like AOTR and such.

@Urban King Thanks but this a submod and I didn't do this alone I had some friends who helped such as Apple and Retr0. I thought I got the correct permission at 1st but luckily he saved me from some trouble I was going to into. I met Apple through him. Without the one of the original members such as [AGD]TheDarkerSide permission this isnt possible. This submod hasn't changed or added a lot of stuff yet from the original but it will. To answer your question yes there is way. Its a Capital ship so yes it requires a capital ship planet such as Kuat, Pammant, ect. with the right tech level as of whats currently uploaded to the mod. That hasn't been altered from the original.
